He's a useful player

He might not be World Class, but he's still a good player

Players can be just that. There's no appreciation of the middle ground anymore

A player has to be either World Class or he's crap

What's wrong with just being a pacey winger with a good shot? Those are two very useful skills to have. Just have other guys in the team who can do what he can't and play him to his strengths

Simples

Was gonna like this but you finished it with 'simples' so your reasoned argument became null and void.

From recent events, I don't think Stirling will cope with the pressure on him at the RS to be honest unless things settle down quickly. Its no secret Real have been outed in the media as being very interested in him over the last few months and I can see him having his head turned. As Ive said elsewhere previously, by his recent silence (unless his veneers are jammed shut) Rodgers seems anxious to put this on a low light now....I expect a "weve drawn a line in the sand" type quote if, as suggested in the press, he has a discussion with Hodgson at Sundays match.

Im still laughing at the thought of Sterling playing for Real Madrid when someone like Isco hardly gets a game

This nonsense about Sterling to Madrid is simply his agents trying to add a few extra £££s to his new contract, there's no way he's near the level required for a top level club like them at the moment, or ever will be in my opinion.

Yep, not even close to Madrid quality, he's still good mind you but Real Madrid?
