World Class? How many players are there in this "World Class" Squad? 456?

Suarez is in the best 22 in the World yes. Gerrard makes the bench for the E team. Sturridge might be in the top 100 and perhaps Sterling is as well but we are talking perhaps 2 or 3 in the best 100 - only maybe. But we're also presuming that players from about 20 teams are in the mix and that includes almost all of the Real, Barca and Bayern first team and a fair chunk of the Chelsea and City XIs.

The wife he dumped couldn't stop eating sandwiches, and was the same size as Melwood.

Mr Midlife Crisis will be back with her when he gets sacked. His teeth will be yellow again, lips extra scabby, sat in his armchair comfort eating underneath the portrait of himself on the wall, compiling a new improved dossier.

Waffling away.

Balotelli is the only 'world class' striker I've ever seen who doesn't actually score any goals. Loads of boss dives, loads of good winding up, load of weird hair cuts but nothing that actually resembles any sort of half competent forward play. He even managed to miss from a yard against us at Anfield, a fixture where where the football gods normally just deflect in any sort of mis-hit, scuffed shot, cross that wasn't meant straight into the back of our net.

They spent 16 million on this person too.

63 shots in 20 games.

Liverpool are obviously playing MONEYBALL over there.

Just not very well it seems.

RAWK are in tears and won't rest until Starfish gets an EPL Winners Medal.

So magnanimous.

Why don't they let him leave for a club that stands a better chance of doing so then?

Thought I'd have a look at what excrement was being smeared on the walls over at the asylum, started on the "Steven George Gerrard of Liverpool and no longer England thread"

Second page I looked at I thought aye aye, this looks promising:

"The only conclusion if what you say is the case is that there is something fundamentally wrong with Rodgers"

I'll read on...

"He will not use Lucas as part of a double pivot with Henderson away to FC Basel with WBA coming up"

Hooray! They never let you down, god love 'em!.

Balotelli scored 30 odd in 50 AC, got 20 for city when they were starting him, the man who can improve any player has got himscoring one in 7, lovren abd mingolet looked destroyed already, skittles and johnson are even worse, allen is finished, the fallout is nigh and it will be glorious

Not sure if you are serious but just in case:

The two players in front of the back-four, known as the ‘doble pivot’ (double pivot) in Spain, give support to the defense, with one player breaking up opposition attacks, and the other putting more emphasis on distributing the ball to the attacking players.

Have heard it referred to quite often since the increase in popularity of the 4-2-3-1 about 4 years ago.

Ahahaha what on Earth is that

It actually makes sense lads. I'll explain.

So the two men highlighted below are the double pivot.

They sit in front of the back four and protect the area around them so that attacking midfielders in their zone of proximity can't threaten with possession easily, as seen by the lines below showing their available movement.

It also allows the attacking mid - in this instance, Coutinho, to join the attack more frequently without worrying what is behind them.

So, in short, if they played Henderson and Lucas with Coutinho ahead of them, they'd have a strong core to the middle of the pitch which would be difficult to break down and dangerous on the thrust (the selected area below)

Hope that helps lads.
