ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I think it's true to say that all football fans wish a lot of things hadn't happened to their rival team - good (on the pitch) or bad (& least when it's off the pitch). However they did happen and we have to learn to deal with each of those situations. It would also help relations between rival teams and their respective fans if, occasionally, a little more respect, humility & more importantly, humanity, was shown just once in a while & then we wouldn't get into this complete f**king mess. Now, having said that, you can decide for yourself which events fit this description - recent or otherwise. I'm sure there are many events in the past that do fit this description.

And didn't move to condemn and help prosecute the rioters.
And didn't work with Juventus on a ''justice'' campaign.
And didn't identify trouble makers and thugs to remove them from Anfield and all British stadia.
And didn't heed the warning of trouble at games that led to very sad and preventable death at Hillbrough.
Did kick off a ''justice'' campaign for the victims (of their own riotous fans) and placed blame squarely on the police.

Everybody elses fault everytime, Chelsea, A wall, Police, no turnstyles, a door was open, the ambulance threw rocks at itself.

For once, say fair cop, guilty as charged. That it will never happen whilst your lot expect that exactly from others is the biggest hyKOPrisy of all.

You're still struggling to understand that the lack of a ****storm regarding the laser pen is because pretty much everyone except you can accept that it wasn't being shone at him because he was black.

Can't win with you lot, if the player and team involved don't make a ****ing big fuss about it, like LFC would, then it didn't happen.

The context is it was only shone at a black player, your crowd faces arrests every match at the moment for rcaist related incidents, one of your players has just served a ban for racist behaviour, and your entire club has defended that behaviour.

You're struggling to divert away from that context. If you all lived on Merseyside you would understand our socialist background and the shame these fortnightly rallies at Anfield are causing the city.

Some of them are more than happy to sing songs regarding it though.

Of course. An anti-Liverpool chant out of disgust about the actions of those Liverpool fans involved.

Tonionio, Everton fans don't sing 'murderers' because we derive some sort of sexual pleasure from it. It's to remind you that 39 deaths were caused as a result of some Liverpool fans' actions and the club failed to acknowledge it at all for 20 years.

He really is as thick as pig sh1t, we don't sing it as a celebration we sing it to make you hang your heads in shame you pillock.

Whereas singing "2-0 to the murderers," at the Derby is revelling in the notoriety. Before you start saying "minority/ always gonna be a couple etc" lets just look at the demograph of the ticket holders at the Derby and the criteria that they wouldve had to meet to get a ticket. Cos lets face it, a ticket for an away Derby isn't just available on a walk ip and buy basis i.e. they would have been season ticket holders in the very least, probably with purchase history going back yonks (we often have to be shareholders to get one at klanfield) so we aren't talking rag tag Urchins here we are talking about fans that are very well known to the club.

The Klansman speaks ahead of the United game:

His conscience is clear (because negros dont actually count as humans - as King Kenny used to *rib* Barnesy about)

He knows everyone at Klanfield loves him (because he's one of them, he *gets it*, he gets the levels of paranoia that have to be stoked)

He realises he now has to be more careful (not admit to using the words he actually uses and make sure he gouges and kicks out of the official's view).

Nothing resembling a contrite statement, as you'd expect form a scumbag looking to ride the wave of psychotic hero worship from the cesspit over that park.

Even when I was sitting on the bench there were many cameras on me. I feel that people are watching me. I have to understand that — it’s the price I have to pay because of the ban

NO, it's the price you have to pay because of the offence that you admitted to.

Oh sorry, that would mean it was YOUR fault, of course.... it's because of the ban, which makes it the F.A.'s fault and the independent committee, their fault for finding you guilty of an offence that you admitted too.

The FA really should step in now. It's like they've taken a shitload of backchat from a stroppy kid that's been punished in the hope they dont kick off.

It's high time this lot were told to button it or they'll face another few weeks on the naughty step.

I've said it before when he was outside the ground all the time on the news, he is the r/s version of Comical Ali.

Luis Suarez in the Echo said:

We know exactly what you mean by that, you snidey little twunt.

I actually think I want to see this player driven out of England. Hopefully old Baconface bought Scholes out of retirement with the sole aim of breaking him in haldf with one of his so-called "tackles".

My abiding memory of John Aldridge was after all the crocodile tears following Hillsborough (and his promises to 'retire' 'cause he was so 'upset').

When the rearranged semi against Forest was played, a Forest player scored an own goal. Mr Aldridge ran up to him, laughed at him and ruffled his hair whilst he was sat on the ground disconsolate. Not a true sportsman, but certainly a true Liverpool supporter.

Those two sentences sum up every single kopite I've ever known. Kopite behaviour, in a nutshell.

That really is pathetic, I can accept bad losers, I'm one myself, but bad winners make me sick, I remember that little wannabe hardman barry ferhuson doing something similar to Koscileny in the carling cup final, made my blood boil.

Just gotta chip in here and say Liverpool is one of the least ethnicly diverse cities ever. It claimes to be all socialist and tolerant, but it doesn't really have anything to be tolerant of. It just likes the idea of it. As much as I love the city and its people it does a lot of finger pointing. I come from a multi cultural town where it has miserably failed, point out its failings and get called racist. I know I'm not, but I'm not afraid to point out the trouble a certain area of Luton has caused. Liverpool as a city doesn't really know what the **** its talking about to be fair. Its easy to accuse when your not in a situation yourselves. And whilst we're here a LOT of scousers a horribly racist because its pretty much an outside phenomenon to them. So I'm not having the high horse thing here.
