ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

My abiding memory of John Aldridge was after all the crocodile tears following Hillsborough (and his promises to 'retire' 'cause he was so 'upset').

When the rearranged semi against Forest was played, a Forest player scored an own goal. Mr Aldridge ran up to him, laughed at him and ruffled his hair whilst he was sat on the ground disconsolate. Not a true sportsman, but certainly a true Liverpool supporter.

He's a horrible [Poor language removed]. Anyone capable of those emotions are pretty thick and/or sick in those circumstances after a tragedy.

Liverpool should have dropped out of the cup and left Forest to it that year to face us as a mark of respect. We all know the claims they were doing it for the fans was a pile of steaming shite. It was a business decision. Hypocrites they are. Just like the anti-Murdoch stuff they come out with, whilst the fans all subscribe to SKY and the club sticks its hand out to accept his cash.

Have to disagree with you NIK about Liverpool not being diverse. i've been all over the country (most of the world too) and i've never been to anywhere that has a more mixed heritage. you walk through tthe town centre and within 200yards you will have seen just about every ethic group possible. Racism is inherent in every place i've been and isnt reserved for white folk against everyone else, i have been the subject of racism because i'm white and english.

It's nowhere near as diverse as most cities and there certainly isn't any 99.1% asian completely segregated areas. Of that there is no doubt whatsoever.

Just gotta chip in here and say Liverpool is one of the least ethnicly diverse cities ever. It claimes to be all socialist and tolerant, but it doesn't really have anything to be tolerant of. It just likes the idea of it. As much as I love the city and its people it does a lot of finger pointing. I come from a multi cultural town where it has miserably failed, point out its failings and get called racist. I know I'm not, but I'm not afraid to point out the trouble a certain area of Luton has caused. Liverpool as a city doesn't really know what the **** its talking about to be fair. Its easy to accuse when your not in a situation yourselves. And whilst we're here a LOT of scousers a horribly racist because its pretty much an outside phenomenon to them. So I'm not having the high horse thing here.

There's an area in Luton which is 99.1 pc asian. And its a place you don't go if your white. Its where all the terrorists come from. You may have heard of it. Just saying that Liverpool doesn't have areas like this, it doesn't have the same ethnic problems other towns and cities have. Which is why it can be so tolerant and understanding, it doesn't face the same problems. Multiculturalsm in its current form has failed miserably.

Just saying what I see. I repeat the same stuff because I see the same stuff on here from you and others daily. I'm 22, I party and I go and get into trouble with girls. I don't do politics. But on here I get so enraged I can't help myself with you lot. You chat about ****e you don't know and then condemn me for my views based on personal experience. And just so you know I very nearly walked out of goodison against man united because of the utter viscious racist ****e that was being spouted. Liverpool is FAR from whiter than white.

There is something in what you say though, but it's not just Muslims. My mate Sandip, a Hindu, used to talk about his mother going postal if he took a white girl home, but conversely I've got white friends who's parents wouldn't be happy if they took home a black or Asian girl.

And try taking home a Catholic girl if you're a Protestant or vice versa in NI as well.

It's all really ****, that kind of stuff. Hopefully it will disappear within a couple of generations.

Malaysian is worlds apart from pakistani muslims. You go anywhere near their girls and it wouldn't just be death stares from there mothers, or a bollocking from yours. You'd be ****ing dead simple as. Her brothers, cousins would all be on their phones to eachother and you'd be ****ing murdered. And in some cases she would be too. Do I reject that kind of thing going on in England? Abso ****ing lutely. If anything, they are far more racist than the average white person will ever be. I work with a pakastani lad (kasmiri whatever) sound as **** to talk to, but he said that whilst he wouldn't do anything he's 100pc certain I would be hunted all over if I went witha muslim girl. Such a shame coz I love persian princesses. I think its the danger. They are all so fit.
