Just been reading the moyes thread on rawk ....it's unbelievable.... They really do have an over inflated opinion of themselves.... All of a sudden there is no longer a big 4.... It's now a big 6 and they include themselves in that group.... Totally ignoring the fact w ave finished above them for the last two seasons despite them spanking millions of pounds trying to play catch up...... Now I'm to dismissing them completely but we too have arguably strengthened our startin 11 and or squad as a whole this season with proven quality in Barry and Lukaku, anther exciting loan in delafoofoo, a good prospect in McCarthy and decent squad additions with kone and Alcaraz....... Oh, and also the small fact that we have not lost a game yet ( albeit only 5 games in ) .......is it just a kopite thing ? Do they think that by not acknowledging us we may go away ? .... Now I'm not gonna make any bold predictions here as that would be stupid of me but I honestly don't think they are anywhere near as good as they think the are..... A large dose of reality is needed across the park I feel.
It's a difficult one... Because of the "meeja", we've finished above them two years on the bounce but the success of that has gone to Moyes rather than Everton, because he placed himself as this all-mighty manager taking "little" Everton into a gunfight with a spoon.
The problem is that rather than the normal interpretation of finishing higher consistently in the league meaning we're obviously the better side, it hasn't converted to such for the neutral.
That said, it's solely the deludeds across the park themselves who actually think they'll finish top four or get anywhere close to it. Every neutral I've spoken to laughs at them. They're a parody to the entire country, the new Newcastle, the club everyone looks to for a cheap laugh.
I think they will finish above us, but that means 6th, or at the very most 5th. Any belief of anything higher is pure delusion. You can hope for better, but they genuinely think they're certs for the top four!
