It's a difficult one... Because of the "meeja", we've finished above them two years on the bounce but the success of that has gone to Moyes rather than Everton, because he placed himself as this all-mighty manager taking "little" Everton into a gunfight with a spoon.
Im under no illusions as to how the season may pan out for us Tubes to be honest... I thnk we are gonna have a few ups and downs over the next 18 months to be honest... But it's a change that was desperately needed either way....... But I just don't understand how they can just big themselves up with absolutely no grounds to do so whilst totally blanking the team who have more or less been their closest opponents in the league for the last few years.... Players like aspas and Alberto are not gonna get you a top 4 finish. It's a difficult one... The problem is that rather than the normal interpretation of finishing higher consistently in the league meaning we're obviously the better side, it hasn't converted to such for the neutral.
That said, it's solely the deludeds across the park themselves who actually think they'll finish top four or get anywhere close to it. Every neutral I've spoken to laughs at them. They're a parody to the entire country, the new Newcastle, the club everyone looks to for a cheap laugh.
I think they will finish above us, but that means 6th, or at the very most 5th. Any belief of anything higher is pure delusion. You can hope for better, but they genuinely think they're certs for the top four!
I don't think that the kopites view on us has anything to do with the media tbh.
They put the fact that we finished ahead of them the season before last season, down to their 'over exertion' in dem cupz an dat.
Last seasons repeat was placed firmly in the 'transition' envelope.
They decided in the summer the transition period was over & this was the year, they re-established themselves & based solely on the maths they had to exclude us from the reckoning & dismiss our relevance. After 4 games this season they were comparing themselves to United & City again, it's delusion on a level that only kopites are capable.

Do you think it's a case of ' those who shout loudest' ....... Why people still rate them is beyond me. They are obviously not bad and it would b stupid to entirely dismiss them bu they are far from convincing this season despite results. Every team that have played hem ( from what I've seen ) have totally dominated them whilst they have got men behind the ball and hng on.... They've only turned up for the first half as an attacking entity in each game they've played.....now if that's Rodgers tactics its working very well.... But for some reason I don't think it is.... They have been lucky so far but it can't last paying that way... It's high risk. Was referring to why many neutrals still expect Liverpool to be in the top six picture before they expect Everton to be. The Liverpool delusion is another matter entirely.
I think we're going to batter them next month. Hopefully it'll be to put us 6 points clear of them as well. Should end some of the delusion.
Oh Jock
Silly silly man
New era now mate. Roberto won't play for a draw. Much more c9nfident in us beating them now.
Will you never learn
*bets mortgage on Gerrard hat trick
Honestly I don't think I will ever feel confident going into a derby lad
