ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Remarkable if true, because the consensus from all the RS I've spoken to is they feel he's lost the dressing room and the football is dour.
They have massively backed him so they probably don't want to rush and admit their failings yet. As for the dressing room, the 2 biggest mouths are out the door this Summer, and I think that showed their intentions on it's own, especially with the Salah situation.
If they are happy to use the Jota situation around the players, They also have to for the manager..

Yep, I am Just trying to find reasons for them to keep him because it's funny.

After spunking half a billion the last thing they want (FSG) is a new flavour of the month manager demanding a massive transfer war-chest.

This. I also feel like they're gambling on Isak in particular rediscovering himself next season. They'll probably spend extensive time over the summer adjusting the system to suit him, which is expected really considering the outlay. I can already see the media building him up 🤮

Slot won the league last year , is fifth and got knocked out in the QF of the CL by the current holders . They aren’t playing well but it feels mad how anti -him the fans are . The good news about keeping him is it’ll lead to a further disconnect between fans and club because everyone of them I know hates him

On Sky Sports last week, there was one of their fans who come on (like all clubs have fans who do Vlogs, Podcasts, film themselves acting like gobshites during the game) and her words were "we are desperate for someone who gets us, someone like Alonso who gets Liverpool".

I dont recall anyone saying last season he didn't "get them". She came across as a right spoilt little cow and all I thought was "if you've got a partner, I hope they come home and break up with you for looking like a desperate, sad, cult loving meff"

I think after last season, and their massive summer spending spree, they were hoping - no, expecting - to dominate English football for a few years. They're a bit like that, the RS, sight tendency to act a touch entitled at times.
