Gerrard's M.O. at Rangers has been a passive aggressive stance with his board: get a little cash, but always positioning himself as having to be disciplined where money is concerned. A company man. He's a stranger to that scene, but he knows that approach suits Rangers' culture - where deference is demanded (and tolerated by the Rangers fans).
Liverpool is a different kettle of fish on that score, and he would outmanoeuvre FSG amongst the fans, the media and the commentariat.
If you were FSG yould avoid him. However, they might face no alternative if the Liverpool base are fired up for it. It's almost Trumpian.

I think the King Kenny aspect is a no-goer.If I were a prediction man, I would say Ljinders first and the preparatory reign for Gerrard. Dont rule out a bit of Kenny in the middle though.
There will be enormous pressure for Gerrard, but FSG will not want him. I've seen nothing to say he could deal with their structure from his time at Rangers, especially a more austere version of it we will have.
Lampard at Chelsea is a good comparison. All I will say with Lampard though, is he inherited Chelsea in a better position than who will inherit Liverpool. They were 3rd and had just won the Europa League. They also have loads of top class young players ready to be blooded. His experience at Derby-having to play younger players is very different to Gerrards.
Lampard took them to mid table. I think slippy could go the Souness/Hodgson way.
They should probably go and get Hassunhuttl to steady the ship, though he is looking rather David Werner esque currently.
But I suspect Ljinders, who they will have a go at protecting, but it will dismally fail.
Enjoy his mate watching Leicester's second.
Why is his flag shown back to front.Sometimes less is more. That tash is demonstrative.
Especially if he wins say his first 3 or 4 games, the snivelling would be at fever pitch, he’d be compared to the great SAF, his comments would be printed and ready to be etched in history similar to the great quotes from the likes of Plato and Confucius. It would be glorious to watch. The hype then the inevitable failure.
I hope that journalist called him up to say "I'm so sorry Jurgen, you were dead right, it is 13 points"Got to admire Klopp I mean how could you not
the man says the gap is 13 points, no one believes him so he makes it so.
True to his word
Ffs another good local supporter, are they real these lot absolute dopesDanger.
Quoted as £9m per week wasn't it?I presume this is on top of what they are already losing?
They might look to Nagelsmann - although whether Nagelsmann would want to follow Klopp is another matter. If I were a prediction man, I would say Ljinders first and the preparatory reign for Gerrard. Dont rule out a bit of Kenny in the middle though.
