….its not as complicated as that, he simply saw McNeil as the better option yesterday. To be fair, there’s probably a rizzla paper in it going off their performances this season.

Moyes was asked pre-match why he went with McNeil and he said he was one of our better players before injury and is proven at this level. Couldn’t disagree with that thinking but McNeil offered little so it might be Dibling gets a start next time. There is also the option of McNeil replacing Alcaraz and Dibling also starting.
He actually said he has experience.
Very disingenuous of Moyes.
He has no experience of playing at RW - apart from a couple of sub appearances.
He has been atrocious every time he's played this season yet we have a RW that we paid £40 M for who has a full season of PL experience and can't get a game .
I'm staggered that a proper football journalist isn't asking Moyes searching questions here .
I understand that it's difficult to displace Ndaye but to pick the hapless McNeil.ahead of Dibling is frankly baffling.

….trouble is Dibling has also been atrocious. Seems a matter of who’s least worst than who’s better. I can understand why Moyes went with McNeil but agree he was poor, so he might as well now select Dibling.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if McNeil starts the next game instead of Alcaraz and Dibling plays right wing.

Tom King, right wing.

Stands to reason.

A lot of chatter about him going to Coventry on their main forum.

Hopefully you may get your wish, although I`d say he`s much more of a Dyche player, than a Lamapard player tbh.
Tbh I think it would be a great fit for Coventry.

He is a good championship level player, and a below average premier league.

I think Coventry adding additions like McNeil will definitely see them promoted in this season (if not already).

A specialist RW who you paid £40 M for and who has had fleeting opportunities or a LW unathletic player who has been atrocious this season .
Yeah tough choice.

With who we have available, I think this probably the better solution because McNeil has previously been okay* when he's played in the 10 role.

I think it would suit him and us, with him and Grealish being able to play between each other, and at least Dibling would be a genuine right-sided player.

*Not good let alone spectacular by any stretch

I agree, as he can cover a few positions outside of left wing too.

Plus, he wouldn`t be expensive and I shouldn`t imagine his wages would be a deal breaker either.

Alcaraz doesn’t deserve to be dropped for that crisp packet.

….difficult to see McNeil going anywhere whilst Ndiaye is away, especially if he’s ahead of Dibling and even Alcaraz in the pecking order. Maybe the end of the window.

If it is a Championship club, you just wonder if Moyes would be tempted to loan Dibling. Downside is he might struggle for games, even at that level if he’s struggling to settle.
