2025/26 Dwight McNeil

Dont see how it does either of them any favours, the lad is going to be looking for a club in four months time, last thing you want is a potential employer name blackened all over Social Media, other employers will take note.

I like Dwight, he seems like a really nice feller. I hope he gets his desired move. I'm sure he will (destined to get the derby winner now though!).

That's it isn't it. You can't just mess a person around because they're on mega wedge, but it's the nature of the game, deals always fall through for one reason or another. His missus is coming from a good place there but she is a bit tone death.
Started the business too late...

They've messed us about.

Everton dealings are mostly mistakes, only ILLY / KDH have consistently added anything.

I was never sold on Grealish, but happy to eat humble pie after his efforts in Oct and Nov.

Salary wise he's taken up the space of two full backs, then hit a wall in Dec and he likely won't contribute more this season.

All this flags our recruitment and vision and Moyes role in that as a problem.

My ray of hope is Moyes teams tend to do ok 2nd half of season ( lack of cups will help )... Europe on offer, if we're playing Dycheball to get there then I'm afraid times up.

Get a grip David, you are smart enough to know how poor Jan has been.

Me too mate, always gave his best here as limited as that was, but it also had a major influence on the wellbeing of the club.

That's the thing even with Dyche, you can be limited but also be influential given a particular context.

Id say Coventry or someone will come up and Lampard might give him a deal, he'd do well there. Fingers crossed for him.

Spot on. I bet Dwight's toes are curling and he's sweating like a glass blower's arse knowing he has to face the lads in training and have the piss ripped out of him.

The Burnley Beckhams have made a show of themselves.
Yeah here's quickly affirmed loyalty to Everton.

Always messy once the wags are involved.

He's actually - alongside Garner - got the best instinct at the club of getting a shot off and can be a danger.

I said yesterday that he arrived here and had a good first season but then clocked off. Motivation is what he needs. If he had a Martinez type putting a hand round his shoulder rather than a Sgt Major Moyes then his time here would be very different right now.

He only really thrived under Dyche in my opinion mate, people forget because he had such a good second half of the season in his first season - but his first six months here were awful under Lampard.

Moyes doesn't like him IMO - i dont know what his persistence is with him on the right, hes the most one footed player we have and isn't his right.

Was telling that they played Harrison over Dwight and Dibling for that matter at the weekend.
