It is, but he's also just not fast at all in any way.That looks like a lack of effort in my opinion.

His first start of the season wasn't it? Only had 20 mins or so before it?
Had a bit of a stinker, but really don't like how he's becoming a boo boy - particularly on social media.
Short memories.
Think he's getting a disproportionate amount of stick - mainly on social media to be fair. Yeah, bad game but let's factor context eh.
Tarnishing his reputation.
His demeanor isn't good enough. Comes on like he's sulking.
Defended him earlier in the season;
... But from November;
Don't know what's up with the lad - he's a much better player than the half arsed version we're witnessing.
If he offered nothing else, it was running/pressing. That's gone.
Does it coincide with the departure of Sean Dyche ?
His body just hasn't adjusted to no gaffers days yet.
Haha yes, but as I remember when we first signed him, I don't think Dyche signed him, he was poor, Dyche became Everton manager and as I remember it be had a great spell, when he worked like a Dog and became one of our most creative players. Then Dyche left and he seemed to become crap and uninterested overnight.
Moyes came in and asked him 'what's wrong with your other foot?'Haha yes, but as I remember when we first signed him, I don't think Dyche signed him, he was poor, Dyche became Everton manager and as I remember it be had a great spell, when he worked like a Dog and became one of our most creative players. To be fair after coming back from injury under Moyes last season he had a decent little spell. Since the start of this season though he looks fully checked out.
Fair enough I stand corrected, it is a shame he has ability, hardly any pace, but as you say, doesn't look interested.

- His output fell last season, when he could only contribute one assist in a struggling relegated Burnley team, though he was in the top one per cent of attacking midfielders in the league for interceptions and blocks.
He's just slow and lethargic in his movement.That looks like a lack of effort in my opinion.
You'd think a better manager could get more from him.
Dyche sold him to us - my point was even if wasn't delivering on the ball - he usually would of it.

Everton Sign Dwight McNeil
Everton have completed the transfer of Dwight McNeil from Burnley, with the forward penning a five-year contract until the end of June 2027. McNeil, 22, can play across the midfield and has more than 130 Premier League appearances. His breakthrough season was in 2018–19, when he scored three...www.grandoldteam.com
This season, it's like the last place he wants to be is on the pitch playing football. It's weird.
