Grew up in Edinburgh and can tell you it is immeasurably nicer than the utter ****ehole that is Dundee (affectionately known as Scumdee - sorry Jock). Also has a much better nightlife than the 'illustrious' fatsams of Dundee, although is nothing on the a night out in Glasgow. Women are a much higher standard as well. More expensive than Dundee, but I'd say it's worth it. Also St Andrew's is a bit boring, the students go to Dundee for a night out ffs!

Jock, what's Dundee like? Might stay in Edinburgh because I heard it's grim.

It's getting better to be honest, the council are throwing money at rejuvinating the city centre.

The walk up to the ground is brutal though, as it takes you through the "Hulltoon" (Hilltown in English) which is rough as a badger's arse.

This is pretty accurate to be fair, although Fatties is ace in a so-sh*t-it's-actually-good kinda way.

Dundee is also a much better choice if you're looking to impregnate a local, just be sure to ask for proof of age first.
