FFS Moyes get us some good teams to play

No wonder we start the season slow playing the likes of this lot

Good teams want money to play against them, either paid for by sponsors or the clubs themselves. We are skint and unglamourous, therefore we don't play Barca & Real Madrid in pre-season. Besides, the times when we have played good teams in pre-season (e.g., Fenerbache 5-0 Everton, before the 2005/2006 season) we have had a poor start as well. It's not who we play, it's how we prepare - and that entails our transfer policy too.

Somebody on another board said they've heard that the 2nd Scottish game is either vs Hearts or Hibs. I myself heard the Rangers game fell through because they couldn't put assurances in the contract that they'd be able to pay policing costs. There's still a possibility they may have to start up a new company. You can't plan to play anyone like that when they can basically go tits up (lol so to speak) in the near future.

By the way, if anyone knows of anyone running a coach to the Dundee United game, can they post on here or message me please. Love to go to that game.

Be made up if it was Hearts or Hibs. Edinburgh's meant to be a great city. Was going to stay there and get trains out for both the United and Rangers games.
