Drenthe the enigma

I can't wait to watch him at Wembley. When we score he's going to run around like a nutter.

He should be playing, but Neville should be doing his captain's job and talking to him about keeping a lid on his emotions.

You know our opponents will milk every bad tackle.

I reckon Johnny could keep him in line...Johnny could keep anyway in line...but in all seriousness, If Heitinga can tame "The Drenthe" he deserves that captains armband without a doubt. Nev has no chance.

We deffo need him back in the squad, agree. We don't want to go down to 10 men early on though and sh*ts like Su*rez will be trying to do just that. I love Drenthe, as you have seen if you've read through this thread, but him and Fellaini can be a bit temperamental at times, and possibly Jelavic still has a bit to learn too. If he is on the bench we could still bring him on fairly early if things aren't working out.

ie. chasing the game. The other lot are very vulnerable at the moment. I say lets get at them from the off and not give them the opportunity to get a foothold in the game.

Royston Drenthe

Does anyone know what the situation is with him?

Also, would you like him to sign on a permanent deal at the end of the season?

Yes. He has family problems. Moyes has given him compassionate leave.

Yes, in a shot.
