Drenthe the enigma

Even if Real wanted rid of him, I don't think there's any chance he'll stay.

I can't help but feel he feels he belongs at a "Prestigious" club, and not at a mid-table club.
I can't see Moyes wanting to keep someone with a massive ego, and does what he wants.
He's after a lot of money, which to be honest, he doesn't deserve.

Founder members of the football league.

League winners before Liverpool even existed.

The most years spent in the top flight out of anyone.

The 4th most successful team in English history.

We've won more league titles than Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham put together.

Not prestigious? Koff.

I'm not disagreeing with you, in fact completely the opposite.

Players like this want to go to clubs like Man Utd, Man City, Real Madrid, Barecelona, etc etc. Clubs that have a huge standing worldwide (more so then our wonderful club).

So does everyone. Drenthe at one of those clubs? No chance. He's already failed at Madrid and doesn't even make our starting 11 half the time.

Yeah I can't see Drenthe going off to to club higher than us. Not until he gets some consistency in his game.

I heard he snorted Steve Rounds headset off the centre circle and shouted "We don't attack down the middle FFS", then he told Alan Irvine to [Poor language removed] off.

Then round house kicked Kenwright and stood over him saying "YOU GOT KNOCKED THE FUK OUT"

So i've heard anyway.

Will he be able to keep his cool in that hothouse atmosphere though? He might be best starting on the bench.

I don't see why not.

Don't worry that he might get sent off or give the ball away, worry that he might cause their defence all kinds of problems and make Enrique **** his pants.

Then when he has helped get us 2-0 up you can take him off.

I know can work both ways though, he would be a good sub to bring on if we are chasing the game but surely its better to think of the positive impact first.

Eithr way we need him back and in the squad.

Any updates from the ITKs here?

We deffo need him back in the squad, agree. We don't want to go down to 10 men early on though and sh*ts like Su*rez will be trying to do just that. I love Drenthe, as you have seen if you've read through this thread, but him and Fellaini can be a bit temperamental at times, and possibly Jelavic still has a bit to learn too. If he is on the bench we could still bring him on fairly early if things aren't working out.
