Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

May I ask, what is the uproar with Trump and his sh1thole countries comment on the subject of what immigrants are permitted?

It's very consistent with US history. Prior to 1965, only Northern European and Germanic groups were permitted entry.

A certain German with half a moustache wrote of his admiration for America's immigration laws (among other things) in 1925:

"The American Union categorically refuses the immigration of physically unhealthy elements, and simply excludes the immigration of certain races."

http://www.timesofisrael.com/american-laws-against-coloreds-influenced-nazi-racial-planners/

For the first 200 years it was whites only (bar the slaves who were already there, and the Natives who had their land occupied before being put in cages - another thing that German admired and wrote about in Mein Kampf).

The 1790 Naturalization Act, "white only" citizens. An Indian who tried to emigrate in the 1920s was rejected in a 1923 court ruling as he wasn't a "white person" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism_in_the_United_States#Asian_Americans ).

Granted since the 1965 Immigration Act which opened entry to non whites it has been US policy not to discriminate based on race, but the Trumpster is small fry compared to those in charge prior to that. He didn't own black people either or call for the complete removal of the Natives beyond the Mississippi like one Mr. T. Jefferson, slavemaster to over 600 blacks.

The uproar is quite farcical. Had the commentators responded to Trump with "we don't do that anymore", that would be accurate, but this outrage, "its against American values", shows a complete ignorance of US history. Same applies with their ignorance towards the long history of religious intolerance, beginning with the Pilgrim myth, an even more intolerant extremist persecuting sect of radical Protestants that would have had me, an Irish catholic, hanging from a tree had I entered Boston (just like the Quakers they executed, the Boston martyrs). https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/sep/12/america-history-of-hating-catholics

As much as I love many aspects of it, the place is riddled with ignorance, and laughable nonsense.

Teach history for Petes sake.

Or, as an Irish catholic, you could have moved to Boston when the country was only 70 years old and your grandson could go on to be the president.

You've posted some wikipedia pages talking about 1965 and a bunch of other well-known travesties happening over the past 200 years. This isn't 1965 or 1920 or 1860 or 1779. It is 2018. The uproar isn't "quite farcical," and you've done this before, talking about how Trump isn't a slave-owner or he didn't get a BJ under a desk, blah blah blah (see here). Your regurgitation of the past is not novel and your characterization of American values and history is incomplete. We are talking about the here-and-now, and while we can't correct past travesties and deaths (for which there are many) there are plenty of lives and livelihoods on the line under this unenlightened and imperious presidency. So put down the Intro-History book and stop your sophomoric lecturing and starting looking up and around rather than in the past.

What's "laughable nonsense" is your post not America. Do you live here? Do you know people here?

Or do you simply get your updates from the internet. Oh and Wikipedia haha!!

You realise half of the US population each election votes for a progressive liberal party accepting of change and different types of peoples and religions etc... and some percentage of the conservative voting people are also accepting of change. So its for good reason people are outraged by stupid behaviour of the current president.

What so because of its past you deem it the same? Can we apply your logic to Britain too? Maybe we should also say Germany hasn't changed also due to the atrocities of the nazi movement

You do know the majority of people and the states have progressed since the 1700's, 1800's and the early 1900's. You are aware of that right? considering mixed race relationship are way more common now and many non white immigrants have settled and contributed to this nation and proudly call themselves American since the times you mentioned.

The irony is its the backwards comments like yours that has people up in arms. The fact that are those that want to live in that narrow minded racist history that has caused all of the recent movements to gain momentum. Hence the treatment the president gets. Yuo do know half of the people that voted did not vote for him. It seems to suggest people are not accepting of the behaviour you have mentioned and their values differ from what you seem to elude them to be.

Do yourself a favour and do some research on actual goings on in this country before you spout laughable nonsense.

How about you read history and see how this country has progressed since its dark days instead of focusing on those dark days.

What makes me laugh is the notion that FoxNews is doing due diligence. They have never bothered with it in the past lol

Yup. The Seth Rich conspiracy comes immediately to mind. Not only did they not bother with sources, the allegedly made up some too. An eventual retraction happened but no apology or admission of 'error.'
