Got to say I’m a bit nervous about this congresswoman who is in the middle of this war of words with Trump over the dead solider... I could be wrong but I’m getting the impression that she’s enjoying the attention and the cynical part of mind questions her motives. She’s making some pretty huge claims now about John Kelly being racist because he called her an “empty barrel”.

The US has lost the plot over Trump. Accusations come out daily but always drag the political body and the Presidential role into the gutter, it’s a race to the bottom. I expect any day now to read that he is either a visitor from another planet or a Vampire...........

This wasn't an accusation it was backed up by the very person he was speaking to as in the mother of the dead child he was speaking to. She confirmed he was on speaker in earshot of the congresswoman. This congresswoman is a family friend of the dead man and actually was one of his mentors when he was growing up.

The fact that she is a democrat is why the president et all are upset. So obviously she is lying because of this.

The fact he chose to not own it and then lie about it, is whats dragging the presidential role into the gutter. The very fact he lies about everything and has accomplished nothing but yet gives himself imaginary 100% scores for his progress

Then he puts several of his mouthpieces on TV to lie further and be derogatory towards the accuser.

Oh and prey tell why the American people shouldn't lose the plot over a man who doesn't care or hold standards who accomplishes nothing and is very divisive.

It's nice you like some of the people here but that does not address steveojcc's contention.

Trump has now directly attacked 2 Gold Star families. I'd like to know what other POTUS has done so. I'd also like to know what POTUS sent out his CoS to attack a sitting Congressperson and in doing so that CoS told a story about the Congressperson which was meant to shame but proved an absolute falsehood.

Do you really want to compare standards, accomplishments, and divisiveness between Trump and other presidents? Because that's what this thread is mostly about. Just skim the last 700+ pages.

What i was getting at was that your posts in the other thread are constructive and at least debatable. Here you tend to post stuff just to be edgy or to oppose just about everyone else here. I was not trying to be mean i apologise if you took it that way.

I think there is a fair bit of chicken and egg stuff going on though. Since his election he has been unmercifully attacked and abused, rightly or wrongly, and so he and his staff react. I appreciate he creates most of this in the first place, but it doesn’t do anyone any good and just makes the USA look bad. It would be best for his opposition to say nothing, he is stupid enough to dig his own hole anyway, there’s no need to join him in there........
