Probably because he was already used to Trump's penchant for exaggeration and lies, and used the Renoir as another test case, so that he could put it in his book. It seems that O'Brien didn't like Trump (as his book shows).

I didn't even know that was a thing until i googled "trumps fake wife" and found several articles about it . If this is true it really does sum up how farcical the guy is. Using a stand in because what his wife doesn't want to be there haha!!

It wasn't, that's what worries me. She takes off her glasses and it's her but it's everywhere, it's even on the BBC. I'm afraid there's like a 1 kid rule being implemented while we all look the other way

For me with him being all over the place it causes way too many distractions. I don't even believe he is doing it on purpose, i just think he is so inept and can't stay on track with anything that he causes hysteria with everything and then people can't focus on the real stuff going on behind.

he is easily triggered and distracted which in turn distracts the public and the media.
