Funny enough, I used to deal with some of the senior guys at NASA and one of their Programme Directors and I had a meal together while we were both presenting at a conference in France. When I used the intellectually lazy description regarding the sun, he totally agreed with me. Of course he understood my background and we had a working relationship...unlike you and I...your attempts to demean are not really worthy of discussion...

Pete more than anything you should stop with the condescending tone. The whole 'look i'm smarter than everyone because of my past' routine its getting old and you know what it proves nothing. Congratulations on what seems to been a successful career you have had and by all of your accounts a mostly enjoyable one.

But just because you worked with so called smart people and it seems the best minds on many wonderful projects, it does not make you smarter and better than everyone else.

You vein attempt to look for validation with every post is boring and tiresome. You have to accept that your comments are not going to be see as some sort of higher learning for the rest of us.

Even smart people spout nonsense. Heck climate scientists according to you have spouted nonsense so go figure.

Feel free to put me on ignore. But if you spout out nonsense--for example, what I pointed out to you above regarding ISIS and you conveniently ignored--I'll call you out on it. I'm not demeaning you, I'm demeaning the sheer laziness of your posts. But it's always easier for you to pretend this is "personal" because then you can 1) continue to post intellectually lazy nonsense, and 2) when called out on it, claim I'm being demeaning to you rather than addressing your own sloppiness of reasoning.

And that bit about the sun. Yeah...pure intellectual laziness on your part. Go back and read what you wrote. It contains no value or substance from which any productive discussion could be launched. You literally claimed that people ignore the sun when it comes to global warming. What is one to do with that?

I so wish someone had asked him why he was not waiving the Jones act. Or why the Lincoln was sent back from Florida. Or why the USNS Comfort hospital ship hasn't been deployed. Just because he is dumbing down the presidency doesn't mean the rest of us should stop asking the same questions we'd ask any other president.

Who said i was defending him? I was merely making an observation that i notice from most of your posts. I could have replied to just about anyone of your posts whether it be a response to me or anyone else.

They always got down Obamas throat about any sort of delayed response to any little or big thing. They refused to admit that Bush never acted quick enough until near the end of his tenure and yet this guy gets away with knowing nothing avoiding the subject and then coming up with complete bs.
