See here you go again. You couldn't get people to sway to you point of view in the EU or not so you are using the US situation and drawing parallels and scenarios etc... with the two presidential candidates on a Trump thread instead.

You're obviously anti democrat because you "hate" both of their last two candidates. I suspect if you were American you'd be a republican/conservative. Your tone is absolutely one sided.

You say you dislike Trump also... Which i feel because people have done enough convincing to you that he is in fact an idiot you are changing your tune to accept their critique of him. Even though you started out the week saying he was unfairly treated and not as bad as people make him out.

Your obviously an apologist for him at the same time to agree with the both sides point of view without see further than the fact that the Nazi and KKK guys turned up to troll and create a manic situation and they have admitted in two different interviews they were ready for violence.

On the other hand the people there to protest them were largely peaceful and only reacted when provoked. Yes there was a small element of these leftists that wanted a fight also but your claim it was 'both side" just like Trumps is an exaggeration and really without context.

It seems like you are trying to be controversial or actually trying to push your pro brexit and anti EU rethoric here instead as people weree not being swayed by your constant posts and agenda over there.

4 people including myself have claimed now you are clearly trying to wind people up and you have claimed you are not but ask yourself why they think that? For a few months you have said little in this thread but in the last 4 days you have been on here pretty much 24hrs trying to stress your point and claiming you are all fact and no one has proven you wrong.

You seem like a decent lad and a sound lad so i have no ill feeling towards you at all i am merely pointing out what i see.

I was asked a question and gave a response regarding Trump and Clinton as I see it. Of course I would mention Brexit for both people because they had opposite views but one of whom had the same as my own over the issue.

I am not anti-democrat because tbh both parties look very similar from outside of the USA, unlike in the U.K. where the left and right are very different ( The USA has no party wishing to dismantle its nuclear deterrent). But I do dislike people such as Obama who was very anti-British.

No one has convinced me about trump being an idiot, I've always said he was, I posted that he would be your next President right at the beginning of the process, not because he was any good, but he had presence and was different from every other contender.

I am not an apologist for him, if anyone else was President and everyone was attacking them I would do the same. Try and look at it from both sides because I have no emotional involvement.

I have made myself very clear that I detest violence on the streets and that progress is only ever achieved through non-violent means.

I have difficulty in understanding how I am being controversial by suggesting that ripping down statues and raising intolerance doesn't really help.

I tend to post in threads were something is actually happening........

See this is sums it up. Most of us posting here live here and have an emotional involvement and a logical brain to see this guy is completely wrong for this country.

Also you may have noticed not all of us are American by birth. A few of us on here moved here as immigrants. We want to do the best for ourselves and our family and well ingrain ourselves to the american culture.... But please don't say "your" president haha!! the president or the US president is fine haha!!

Anyway he deserves every bit of the criticism he gets as he has done nothing to instill confidence nor anything to bring the country together.

Put it this way if you had a prime minister who said he/she wasn't a fan of Irish people or French people and wanted to shut the borders down and build walls or mocked cities for being dumps or made accusations on twitter all day everyday and simply lied about everything wouldn't you be mad too? Or hires people for jobs and those people can't stand what that job stood for an actively try to dismantle it.

Would you be ok with a prime minister that reverted or tried to undo everything the previous person did even if some of it was actually pretty good?

Even before the election last year every day he was on TV making salacious claims. He even once said he could walk onto the street and murder someone.

He continuously talks about being a great businessman even though hes clearly not. He talks about himself as being the best of everything which is hilarious we all mock north Korea's leader for that very thing.

So excuse the people who decided when he won to scrutinize him more than ever as well now he is president and like i said before he has to own it.

Not that's its hard to mock the man with his insane ramblings and mad tweets

Have you considered that he is projecting exactly the image that he wants to and in fact is quite talented in doing it to his target audience? For a man who shoots his mouth off at whole host of things big and small white nationalists are one area, along with Russia, he has never ever rushed to condemn and when eventually done so has shown all the enthusiasm of going to the dentist.

Why exactly should anyone give him slack on his racial comments - every time he has talked about the sensitive issue he has been offensive. I genuinely cannot think of a single instance when he hasn't, especially on his Twitter feed which as we all know is the window into his actual feelings. Why not provide one if you believe that not to be the case?

When out of say 10 opportunities to address an issue and you flunk spectacularly at every one why do you think it is going to be any better at try #45? He'll probably get it right by sheer accident at some point but that doesn't erase the very extensive papertrail.

He is who he is, a businessman, he's not a politician and seems to wear his beliefs on his sleeve unlike professional politicians who will tell you whatever you want to hear. I don't get his relationship with Russia, my guess is that they have something on him.

He got where he got to in business by being insensitive, it happens in the business world. I really don't know where he stands on race issues but I suspect no one really knows because he can switch from being polite to obnoxious in an instant depending on what he wants to achieve (nice with May, obnoxious with Merkel).

My guess is that he's only addressing the issues he believes are important at this point in time and has little time or even interest in dealing with civil rights etc.

He's not what you want because I suspect many on here didn't vote for him anyway. If he makes a mess of everything then you have the Mid Terms to send an impossible to ignore message.....

He's not even a successful businessman. He's declared bankruptcy. He's even bankrupted casinos.

Whatever it is that he's done, it's b/c he was given it by his father.

This isn't a self-man man like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates.

I hate the businessman argument for this clown. He's a self obsessed media whore.

I'm not having a go at anyone on here. While I am not American I do keep an interest because my son and his American wife live in the USA. Trump is a self centred egotist, and everyone knew that from his days on the apprentice. When I refer to him as 'your' President I'm not trying to foist him on you, just relating the fact that he isn't mine. Anyway, the mid-terms will be here soon enough to send a message, but don't be surprised if he pulls a stunt and the Republicans hold onto their vote.....

My point really was that he is not a politician, business is his only background. Your last sentence pretty well sums him up......

Still waiting for some evidence he has been obnoxious to white nationalists Pete...

They are a pretty easy group to be obnoxious about regardless of your political persuasion and yet...he hasn't. Given one of those white nationalists killed a woman and injured many more you'd think it was an important issue to address hwoever he's spent more time on CEO's leaving his councils, blasting Republican senators and praising statues.

David Duke and Richard Spencer are sure getting his message loud and clear.

I think he's damned if he does or doesn't tbh. The delay fixed everyone's mind for them. If he says anything now it will be dismissed as playing politics and portrayed as being bullied into it, which his character wouldn't allow. He's definitely in the mire though.......

I wonder what he'd have said if the driver was a Muslim. Or a Mexican.
