I had many in the USA people working or me, really of all political persuasion, who I spoke to on a regular basis, but I do not recall anything like the animosity against Trump. I know I am outside of the USA but it just feels different tbh.....

I have a couple of very good friends from the east coast you should speak to them, one of them from close to Boston has ranged from almost tearful to what I'd describe as fury over trump more than once and this specifically and that's not Hyperbole.

The reason I mentioned the declaration was because it's official, its legal, its war. Whoever had won would have written the history of the war and written the future. If we hadn't have won, trust me, everyone on here would be spouting Nazi propaganda. My whole argument has been that intolerance is on the rise and that this must be avoided. You accuse me of defending a right wing view yet I have said nothing to support them, I support a centrist view and socialist concern, so perhaps an apology might be in order. We may not agree but do not paint me a colour and assume that's a prepositioned viewpoint.....
