But the only way it will resolve is if Trump leaves the office - his whole career he has thrived on chaos and infighting and that management style, such as it is, is not going to change at this point in his life whoever is in his staff.

See, I'll take him at his word that the President going to national tv and saying that there are good people in the midst of a White Nationalist rally is a pretty good sign that he tolerates bigotry.

America would do well to stay way away from this. India and China have been skirmishing along the border for quite a while and an argument between two countries, with nearly half the worlds population, is serious, it does not involve the west.......

They were never on his side - in fact, this was probably their intention all along; Trump quits / is impeached / is bumped off, and they get Pence + his pick of VP for the next three and a bit years. This is a party who in effect finished a distant third in 2016.

I'm not defending him. He's a pillock, but one I fear that has been attacked more than any other president. My fear is the rising intolerance, and lots of things on here suggest that this is not going to change.

... because he's the President of the United States and does things like defend Nazi violence on the streets of the United States!

Look, it doesn't matter if he was Mother freakin' Teresa before this, he's quite literally the leader of the free world and he's defending people donning Nazi regalia and clubbing people in one of his own states, because they have 'probable cause' to do so! You have to have a line in the sand - how is this not yours???
