The forgetfulness about accurately reporting meetings by Trump staff is truly remarkable

In the midst of the 2016 presidential campaign, then-Trump adviser Gen. Michael Flynn made an unreported trip to the Middle East to work on a joint Russian-U.S. venture in Saudi Arabia, possibly having multiple contacts with Saudi officials that he failed to disclose when seeking renewal of his security clearances, according to Democrats who are seeking detailed records of Flynn’s travels.

“Most troubling of all, we have no record of General Flynn identifying on his security clearance renewal application – or during his interview with security clearance investigators – even a single foreign government he had contact with,” wrote Reps. Elijah Cummings and Eliot Engel, the ranking members of the House oversight and foreign affairs committees, in a letter published on Monday.

Guys let's focus on the real issues. Like Kathy Griffin and a Shakespeare play.
Did enjoy it when some republican nitwit (Huckabee, possibly) posted on twitter "this is why we had such an issue with that "play"." in response to the shooting the other day.

Word to the wise, I don't think you're allowed to sarcastically put play in inverted commas when it's fkn Shakespeare lol

White House press secretary Sean Spicer out, "moved to different position within the administration"
Yes, that's been the word circulating ever since he hid in a bush about a month ago. Part of me feels sorry for the guy, but then I remember all of the lies he peddles on behalf of this current administration, and just how inept he seems at fielding reporters.

I agree with this 100%

That's exactly it. I don't think he believed most of what he was defending hence he always looks lost for a response. Or would come up with some ridiculous response.

The man or women you sent out to speak to the press should be all knowing and very composed. None of Trumps people ever seem like that. Conway is nuts and Huckabee Sanders is as plain as they come and gives them that stare she has and offers no better answers than Spicey

No, you can tell with the way he answers some questions that he doesn't believe 3/4 of the stuff coming from his mouth but that's the line he's been told to give. But sometimes it's difficult to adequately answer some of the questions posed esp if they revolve around Trump's inane tweets..

That's why Trump wants to do away with the pressers entirely or at least just do those soundbite ones with no cameras and no questions. They have been doing them more and more lately. So the press can't push back and fluster who ever is up there. That and the audience don't see the dear in headlights look from his surrogates.

Agreed. 100%

Despite how serious everything is, it's been super interesting to watch this administration and see it all fall apart day by day.

That Trump is on-record making fun of handicapped people, making racist statements, making sexist statements, for all to see, and after witnessing A-hole Trump make all these claims, these people still agree to work for him...it's vulgar. They are conscience-less, status-striving, boot-lickers, and if they later make claims like "I didn't really personally believe what I was told to say by Trump" that makes them even more despicable. Good riddance, but Spicer is certain to be replaced with someone equally spineless and vile.

Hate this logic of people feeling sorry (even a little bit) for Spicer.

He knows exactly what Trump is - see his comments during the primary - yet every day he goes out there and wilfully lies to the press.

He made his bed.
