National polls are not fashionable these days
but this one seems salient, in light of recent congressional results. and the respondents are probably on to something - or at least until the health care bill passes, that is.
it's almost as though voters actually want the Democrats to
do something for them, should they take office!
they actually did better in South Carolina, in a much less competitive district with no media, financial, or national party attention. in the end though, the gerrymandering held.
it's always a fool's errand to read too much into local elections. but one lesson which really should have been learned by now is that more the current Democrat leadership intervenes, the less people want to vote for them.
but I bet Pelosi keeps her job, even though dropping her name strong-n'-stable style was just about the only thing the GOP could think of to use against Ossoff.
they obviously don't dare to campaign on their actual agenda - taking away your health care to
lower taxes for rich people in blue states. for Nancy Pelosi, in other words.
