Welcome back Wayne
By doing absolutely nothing
So you'd just walk on by and say 'nothing to do with me'........

Unfortunately yes. We're not the policemen of this planetSo you'd just walk on by and say 'nothing to do with me'........
This is all over the place, hard to make a sensible reply. Sounds to me like the ramblings of the demented remnants of the Militant Tendency which came within an inch of reducing the City of Liverpool to the status of a Third World country.Ridiculous hyperbole. Guess years of colonial rule, slave trading, illegal wars, suez, etc etc. are not as bad as weighing into a war we have no right to be part of and no way of controlling.
Unfortunately yes. We're not the policemen of this planet
Jesus Christ. You know full well that's a completely ridiculous comparison. Comparing domestic violence to global politics. UnrealWould you walk past a woman being beaten up by some nutter......
Hahaha. Sorry mate. Carry onThis is all over the place, hard to make a sensible reply. Sounds to me like the ramblings of the demented remnants of the Militant Tendency which came within an inch of reducing the City of Liverpool to the status of a Third World country.

go on sonJust the murder of innocent women and children.... Trivialising that under the banner of 'global politics' is the only unreal part of that post.
Possibly the most shameful event in the history of British politics. The day when Labour and the Libdems combined to defeat the motion to take military action against Assad. Thousands of innocent people killed and maimed as a result leading to the gas/chemical attack last week on hundreds of civilians.
Let's dispense with the hypocritical "we care about innocent people being murdered" bullsh1t. Everyone--you, me, political parties, governments, religions, pick and choose who they care for and who they conveniently ignore. This applies here. Using some transparent moral high-ground to pretend you care about the fate of the Syrians based on your politics--who by the way, are seeking asylum in your country (and mine, USA)--is shameful. Do you welcome Syrian refugees in your country? You can do so by voting with the political parties that supports their welcome. Or not. So how did you vote and/or support the fate of these people that you proclaim to care about?
