Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

Ah ok. Well, Biden has repeated the claim often enough. There will be plenty of clips out there. What Biden usually does is to repeat with vigour that neo-Nazis, white nationalists and Klansmen were present at Charlottesville and that Trump said 'there were fine people on both sides at Charlottesville'. He at least heavily implies Trump called neo-Nazis fine people. What Biden never says is that Trump completely condemned the presence of neo-Nazis and white nationalists. It's a lie of omission from Biden.

It's also a lie perpetrated by the media. Snopes for instance took 7 years to finally state that Trump calling neo-Nazis fine people was a lie.

The final sentence says 'He[Trump] in the same statement(In fact he said it in the next sentence) said that he wasn't talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be condemned totally.'

So, we have Trump condemning totally the neo-Nazis.
Neo-Nazi groups were totally aware of Trump's continued tendency to say conflicting statements and they would get the one he meant for them i.e. 'very fine people'. It is part of his playbook just like Carlson etc. They know he has to some way pretend to not support them for PR and lap up his other remarks. His rhetoric surrounding minority groups and previous racist rhetoric (central park 5) and racial discrimination (rental court case) plus constant dog whistling provides context for the fact that he is a scumbag. Anyone who supports him despite this publicly available info is also a scumbag.
He's just jealous that black/brown people don't have to use bucket loads of orange make-up!

What do you reckon, should we go with Holgate or the young lad Dixon at right back against the Spuds ?

Let’s have it right.

The press conference where Trump said “very fine people”, was actually a press conference about why it had taken him so long to properly respond to the Charlottesville march in the first place.

What was needed was a clear, unambiguous statement of moral authority from a leader. What people got was a ‘yeah, sure neo-nazis are bad, but the alt left are also bad, and there were some there who weren’t nazis, so there was fine people on both sides, and bad people on both sides’.

The ambiguity across that whole press conference, could be down to Trump being a terrible communicator (he is), or it could be seen as him not wanted to upset his far right base, so was keen to “both sides” it.

I’d encourage people to read a transcript of the whole press conference, and it’s every bit as rambling, incoherent, and ambiguous as you’d expect, when clarity and decisiveness is what was called for.

He's learnt a new phrase today: 'cognitive dissonance' and has told myself and @Noisy noise annoys off...

OMG! That's us told then! We're shaking in our boots! Whatever shall we do? 😱

@dylsexicbleu do you even know what that phrase means? It's a more technical term for 'gaslighting'.

Something that your man has been guilty of since day 1:
'Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse or manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim's mind. Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition.'

I was watching the press conference when Trump said it.
I watched subsequent press conferences when Trump defended it
He had literal neo-nazis at his coup attempt jan 6th
You're in a cult

of course he doesn't. He's just doing what dear leader Trump does which is accuse the other side of anything said to them. People have been calling out MAGA's cognitive dissonance for years. They have to work very hard to reconcile Trump's obvious disdain for them when it comes to what actually happens with their belief he's one of them and on their side. No suprise they have a mental fracturing. Massive Cult

Trump's in a hard place. Does he carry on with the outrageous lies, or temper his message slightly to suit people who don't have cowhorns growing out their heads?

Reaffirming his position with the indoctrinated simpletons who already think he can do nothing wrong, while alienating everyone else and winning over absolutely nobody new. It's a fantastic strategy imo

Maybe you can come up with a good reason why Harris did not pick the Jewish Governor of PN as her VP. I can't, other than he's Jewish. Harris is almost certainly going to win MN with or without Walz. PN on the other hand is the State that will probably win the Presidency for either candidate. With the PN Governor as her running mate Harris probably gains an extra % point or so in the state. An extra % point in MN wins her nothing.
Because Walz can coach a defense and knows to run the damn ball

I stand corrected. Here's Biden saying blatantly that Trump called neo-Nazis and white nationalists fine people. It's about 45 secs in. Biden is vile.

Here is Richard Spencer’s speech at an alt-right conference in 2016; note a few Nazi salutes and all the fascist and racist talk of white supremacy and how non-whites are a drain on society.

Spencer also organized the Unite the Right rally where a white supremacist murdered a young woman.

They were fully behind Trump in 2016.

They all yell “Hail Trump” because that is part of the voting base that Trump campaigned to earn. This latter point is precisely something that a racist like dylsexicbleu would conveniently overlook.

Ah geeeeeez, but c'mon you guys! Cut Donnie boy some slack!

Remember after the attempted assassination, he called for 'Unity' for the whole nation?

He couldn't even last until the end of the next week before he was back to his old BS, but surly that counts for something?!

I mean, right?!? :p
