This guy was an adult I believe - if the parent failed to secure the firearm they might look at some sort of accessory type charge but think they would be hard pushed to make it stick.

Depends on the gun laws of the state as to what guns are available at what age. Think California where I live he still wouldn’t be able to legally possess, unsure about Pennsylvania.

apparently he couldn’t legally get a handgun but could buy an AR-15. Our gun laws are very weird.

21 for handguns; 18 for rifles and shotguns

The people saying its staged need to have a serious word with themselves. Somebody died ffs, you think that was all done for a laugh? Plus the orange chimp got hit in the ear! do you have any idea what kind expert marksman you'd have to manage that deliberately?! Whatever you think about Trump, this obviously wasn't staged and its embarrassing to pretend otherwise......

Meh, division exist in America with Russia or without it, Moscow just trying to exploit their enemies weakness, same thing that America or any other power doing against their enemies, same [Poor language removed] as always through history. They don't need Russia to hate each others.
Sow divisions and try to destabilize your enemy is like most generic strategy there is in geopolitics done by anyone of note.

Anyway, these hardcore leftists or rightist mostly exist in online echo chambers, like anywhere else i doubt most ordinary Americans give two shits either way. Cause if i would believe likes of Reddit or Twitter it would seem most American are hyper-partisan left or right radicals ready to hurt their most immediate family cause of political disagreement, i very much doubt thats real world.
