So far it has been two themes. First, Biden and the Democrats are responsible because of their use of charged language stating that Donald Trump will destroy democracy, and must be stopped at all costs. Second, they're claiming the notion that Donald Trump will destroy democracy is preposterous and false.
This completely ignores the stated plans of the Republican Party to clean house at Justice and the FBI if he wins, which would for all intents and purposes create a privileged political class in our justice system and destroy democracy as we know it. That's just one of the many things the Republicans intend that will undermine fundamental democratic norms.
It also deliberately mischaracterizes how Democrats and Republicans alike have said Donald Trump must be stopped, which is at the ballot box. They have been crystal clear about that one the whole time.

If it happened in October, I would agree that the Game Over screen just appeared. It's July, the last two weeks have been completely off-the-rails insane in ways no one could have anticipated, and I suspect it's likely to head further into the Twilight Zone before we're done.
What it will do, with certainty, is turbocharge Trump's somewhat lackluster fundraising. Biden has had the fundraising advantage, and he has been spending like it in key swing states. That's likely to reverse itself, with many of Biden's big donors holding back on the cashflow until he proves himself or is replaced.
Not even going to pretend I know how this will all pan out given a) it is Trump b) we are in 2024.
However at least in terms of history it hasn’t worked out that way (obviously a lot of other factors going on even then)

It has the potential to get ugly because it may embolden any other potential attempts, for a competent shooter would have hit the target.
Yes, they'll now tighten security around Biden, Trump et al., but for any deranged individual it'll be a positive. Plus, will anyone on the right now look for revenge?
We can talk about how it may embolden Trump and his campaign, yet for me, it'll be how it may ignite the extremists on both sides of the divide.
This really sin’t the sort of event you want to troll this way, it could very easily get you and your family killed.
