no other US president has been inpeached twice and indicted twice.
I wouldnt be bragging about some carpet bagging loon whos convinced you he's wearing the finest cloths.

I wonder if one day you'll wake up and realize your whole life view has been shaped by people who've figured out how to monetize stupid.
I'm not on the side trying to imprison a political opponent.

Where do I get evidence to prove the Trump Administration was hamstrung by Russiagate? Is there a spreadsheet available that accurately depicts how much more Trump would have achieved as President had Russiagate not taken place? Or, considering we are adults talking here, can we at least accept it required a significant amount of time & resources for the administration to fight the allegations during much of the first three years of Trump's Presidency? I brought up Watergate as it broadly resembles the Russiagate debacle. I could have brought up Iran/Contra or the Clinton sex scandals. None of these scandals made it easier for the respective administrations to function. Can we at least agree on this?

If I had a spreadsheet like that I would provide it, but again, I didn't bring up this issue you did. I was just asking for evidence to support your claim and you don't seem capable of providing it. I'm not being obtuse here, but I'm not willing to draw parallels with other scandals simply for the sake that they eat up time of presidential aides/lawyers. The issue of time wasn't really the question, it was that somehow Trump's administration was "hamstrung" by these investigations to which I'm having trouble finding evidence of this (see my golf post above).

Sorry, of course

  • Joe Biden
  • Random Labour MP photoshopped in plan
  • Mike Pompeo
  • William Barr
  • Fox News
  • The US legal system, specifically the pesky laws surrounding top secret documents
  • People who don't think that Trump and only Trump should be immune from any and all legal proceedings against him
  • People whose lone news source isn't "reading between the lines"
  • The FBI

So that’s why the wall didn’t get built.

I'd suggest the McCain family has several reasons to hate Trump beyond populism
I seem to remember one of Trumps earlier shouts was to suggest John McCain was a bad soldier because he got captured and tortured to within an inch of his life.

All coming from a man so cowardly, he got his daddy to pay off a doctor so he could avoid fighting in that same conflict. The slimey toad of a man.

And those agents were given due punishment for being incompetent or biased. How was the Trump administration hamstrung? None of the wrongdoings "appear to have been committed hand in glove with the Dem campaign" (as you stated above), as the Durham report states (page 98) regarding the "Clinton Plan:" "it did not yield evidence sufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any FBI or CIA officials intentionally furthered a Clinton campaign plan to frame or falsely accuse Trump of improper ties to Russia." Footnote 393 of the Durham report is also relevant, as it states that negative claims about a political opponent are routine and not illegal in and of themselves.

So I really don't find your claim to be consistent with the [Durham] report you brought when you claimed, "Nah, no way I'm believing the FBI were playing with a straight bat with regards to Trump. Call it a conspiracy, confirmation bias or whatever you wish. It's their thumb on the scales to undermine Trump, his campaign and his administration" on the previous page. Campaigns routinely try to smear each other, but I still don't see how this "hamstrung" Trump's administration once he was elected.

Bless you for still having the patience and mental fortitude to attempt rational discussions with MAGAs/WUMs

Hamstrung = 'severely restrict the efficiency or effectiveness of'.

I didn't say scandals are limited to aides or lawyers. One of Trump's strengths is an ability to communicate. You don't even have to agree with me on this. The Presidency is called the Bully Pulpit for good reason. It's a massive advantage for any President. I'd say in Presidential press conference after press conference Trump was forced to address Russia gate. Wasted time & resources he could have used elsewhere. In speech after speech he had to address the subject. This is the public Trump. That's before we get to the no doubt many, many hours Russiagate required of him privately. There is little correlation between the number of golf outings and effectiveness of a President. Some of the perceived laziest modern President's have been the most effective - Eisenhower and Reagan spring to mind. President's do require some down time, no?

Read Comey's public letter. He's twisting himself into knots as to why he recommends not prosecuting Clinton. Her server didn't even have Gmail level of security. I'd say her private server security was not much better than the security of posting top secret intel stuff via pm on this site. Still, Clinton got a sweetheart decision of barely a reprimand.

Being indicted on espionage charges and allowed to walk free with no restrictions on your movement or actions seems a pretty sweet deal to me.

As already covered in the Durham report, those who lied about it were tried in court: two acquittals, one guilty. Not sure how I can reword this differently the 3rd time around. And in sentencing Clinesmith the judge noted, "“It is not at all clear to me the FISA warrant….would not have been signed but for this error" which indicates that it wasn't as relevant as you claim.

As to Trump being hamstrung, you have provided no evidence--none--to support any of the questions you pose. Then you bring up Watergate, bizarrely projecting some thoughts on to me, which I never suggested or brought up.
Also, I forgot to mention that Comey, Strzok and numerous other FBI officials refused to talk with Durham. As is their right. However, don't preach to me about little proven illegality when many of those involved refused to even help the investigation. Nope. No stonewalling going on at the FBI.
