All hearsay to be sure, but loads of rumors about him being pumped up with drugs such as adderall, which might cause some elevation in activity/attention. To his credit and likely rare among politicians (though shared with Biden), he doesn't drink alcohol, which is certainly a health benefit. It's also not clear what he does for the other 21 hours of the day when his attention and ego isn't being mollycoddled by an adoring cult-like crowd during those 3 hour rallies.
Watch television and tweet for seventeen, and sleep for four. Probably has the TV on while he is scarfing down fast food.

On the topic of Qanon, I watched an interesting interview with Frederick Brennan on Time Heideckers Office hours, quite interesting to find out more from someone who has been in the belly of the beast

Here is another piece on him

Read that one, quality piece. Need more journalism like that which isn't quite long form, but has some heft to it. It's brief enough to appeal to a wider audience in an era where attention spans are not what they were.

Let me see if I have this story right. The local chair claims that she brought people from the data firm into the building and granted them systems access, but abdicates any responsibility with respect to supervising what they did with said systems access. The people from the data firm are effectively claiming that the attorney lied to them about the legality of what they were doing, and abdicate any responsibility for verifying whether or not the attorney's claims were substantively accurate. They also appear to be claiming that they did not personally breach the systems, but that people working for them (heretofore unseen) did, and are effectively abdicating their own supervisory responsibilities.

Are the attorneys for these people unaware of the fact that ignorance is not an excuse under the law, or is this a very flimsy mitigating-circumstances defense for people that were caught red-handed? I'm not clear what is going on here. If that's the best they've got, wouldn't a competent attorney tell them to plead, engage in maximum cooperation in return for minimum sentence and get on with it?

I don't get it.

Just watched the news conference.

Thought that the AG’s line about Trump’s business practices, not the art of the deal, but the art of the steal, was classic.

A sham and a fraud, prohibited from conducting any business in NY state isn’t a great look.

Criminal proceedings to follow ?
Looks like possible tax and bank fraud. Both criminal offenses.
