Her release is very weird thing to do. She was sentenced for 35 years and got out after few years.
Top army leaders and defence officials are against her release. Her actions probably had an effect and accelerated the Arab Spring. This was political decision. Why would Obama want to send this message now? He has rewarded a traitor. Finally America will have a president who will work for their country and not only panic over his legacy as a president...and with Obama...that legacy is...well there's actually not legacy at all.
