These incidences are seldom about an individual but rather the cause they are representing. It's a good reminder that, whatever our beliefs, we should strive to be respectful and accommodating to those who believe differently.

Well since eighteen hundreds it has never happened in this scale atleast. Total contempt against democratic principles and towards the tradition of peaceful transition of power. Still refusing to look into the mirror and reflect. This will only harm them selves and their party.

But then this sort of (and I use the term loosely) person doesn't usually get close to becoming President, much less win.

There has been an obvious and clear degeneracy in politics, not just in America - but across the western world. Trump is a symptom of this, not the cause.

The cause is an increasingly right-wing mainstream media, where a dangerous and hate-filled narrative has been carefully built over the past three decades in order to fill column inches and sell advertising space.

I agree 100% that the system is rigged, but please understand that it is not the fault of immigration, the NHS, the old, the disabled, the people that have chose to take up their right of social welfare - or even Trump supporters.

It is the fault of the new elite. The likes of Farage, Trump, Banks, Murdoch, Gove and Desmond. As they get richer and more powerful, we the people are losing out on opportunity and aspiration.

The thing that hurts the most is that it's these very elite of whom have now assumed the roles are power-brokers. People are falling into their traps, and we're seemingly allowing it to happen.
