TBF I think that is a statement that can be a bit over-stated; Trump actually has moved his own politics (such as they were) a lot closer to those of his base and has an awful lot of help (one huge network (Fox), one huge network of local TV stations (Sinclair), almost all of talk radio and loads of online presences) from those whose sole job is to amplify the message that he is the only one who stands up for them (or more recently, that he is the only one standing in the way of ruin) and to shoot down any criticism, however obvious, of him.

If Trump was genuinely popular (as for example Reagan or Eisenhower was) then he wouldn't need as much boosting as he gets.

TBF that a fifteen year old has the social media following that she does is the most concerning thing there. When did it become acceptable to let a kid ruin their life like that, just so TikTok or whoever can make money out of it?
