Technically trump did have a point like no matter how fashionable it is to hate on him.
If America had less cases of infection compared to other countries then it would be a better reflection on them rather than their population?
Now I don't think America has the lowest cases in the world by a long shot , especially given the protests against wearing masks at the very least so on the whole if he was talking out of his arse about the stats then that's what he was doing.
But still , technically if you only ever got 300k cases then the 150k dying would be much better based on population size than a much smaller one.
Otherwise in that scenario you are counting people who didn't get sick to amplify how many did which makes no sense!

So a population of over 300 million with only 300k cases is worse than a country with a million cases and only 64 million population in the same time frame?
