Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

No, she didn't just ask about testing - she made the question political by phrasing it as the government being more interested in point scoring than saving lives. Therefore Trump is within his rights to reply highlighting the reason lives are being lost in the first instance.

As for your second point, I firmly believe Trump is a massive racist - however, that isn't an example of it. He's used that term in exactly the same way to journalists of all ethnicities before now. It wasn't racism in that video, and attempting to claim that it was is grasping at straws.

There's no reason to go searching for tenuous reasons to criticise the idiots when a billion reasons are readily available.

“Make the question political”? Politics is the reason they are doing it, as should be completely obvious. What else are they going to boast about, the number of armed men on the streets nowadays? The boost it’s given to funeral directors?

As for the racism, if this was the first time he’d done it then perhaps he could be given the benefit of the doubt. It isn’t, as you recognise, so he shouldn’t.

If you are going to call that racist, then it lowers the value of the term itself. It becomes white noise. It's a powerful allegation that should be withheld for serious instances of it, because otherwise you let Trump off the hook.

And by political, I mean the tone of the question - the media attack dog mentality, because they've had their feelings hurt by an idiot. There was a hundred better ways to phrase that question - by doing it the way she did and then making the faux-racism outraged follow up, she just gave ammo to Trump's base and empowered him.

That's actually the most depressing part of the whole exchange - the fact it benefited Trump.

However, many people seem to be criticising the President for what he is doing publicly.

Well yes, openly being the dumbest President in the history of America, tanking your economy and contributing to the deaths of hundreds and thousands of Americans through sheer cluelessness will bring a certain level of scrutiny. Luckily he has found the best way of dealing with it, throwing a big tantrum and storming off like a big baby. Lol

He spent most of yesterday inventing an Obamagate scandal that he won’t tell anyone what it entails, except that it’s the worst political crime ever; remarkable statement in a country that enslaved people, has a lengthy record of political violence (including a civil war) and where several Presidents have been assassinated.

The media have only a binary choice here - either let him rant on, destroying the country, or challenge him. She challenged him, properly.

You see that was the weird thing for me about supporting people building (and not just maintaining) statues in support of the Confederacy... They were traitors to the nation he leads! They declared themselves apart and attacked the government he now leads in support of free money from owning other people.

I seen that Chinese-American girl asking trumps‘ why did you say that to ME in particular about saying ‘ask china’. Jesus Christ he’s been reflecting blame on China for months why does she have to go there?

Just a quick history lesson. Lincoln was a Republican president with a Republican congress.

It was the Democrats that supported Slavery in the South. The KKK was a product of the Democrats Southern branch.

You seem to think I'm defending Trump, or that I'm sort of Trump fan.

I'm really not.

... and so on.

Has he done a good job on this or basically anything else? God no. All I said was that very specific clip was more embarrassing for those journalists than Trump. It was a terrible question, followed by an unfounded insinuation and then a bout of unprofessionalism.

And I'll also keep reminding people that no matter how terrible Johnson and Trump are, they're dealing with a situation that was ultimately caused by China. For some totally bizarre reason, people seem desperate to shield China from blame, and I believe it's because it's a politically convenient situation to bash Trump/Johnson with.
Terrible as Trump and trump-lite / uk are...almost every country was left in the start line, some, more by good luck and geographical position, managed to make up ground though.

By Bat or Lab, by accident, design or plain coque-up. Almost everybody knows where all this originated. Where it all goes in post recovery with regards to this (99%) fact is the key question.

Somebody(s) will have to have the clout to put pressure on the culprit (whoever it may turn out to be) to get their house in order so it doesnt happen again.

Is that for real about the Dems?

It is.

The Republicans and Democrats have in some ways switched to different parts of the political scales (though that is simplifying it).

I dont think it's really fair to say the current Republican party (mad as they are) are really in favour of the return of slavery.

The KKK have switched their endorsement however, and you'll be hard pressed to find a Democrat lawmaker in a lot of the southeastern states.

I didn't, and wouldn't, say that.

The comment was about the historical journeys the Democrats and Republicans have been on. They are both very different parties than in the 19th century.
