Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

It's funny because I actually kind of agree on the question. I don't have a problem with Trump comparing the response to other countries because that is what everyone is doing. I do have a problem with his dishonesty around the issue, but the concept itself isn't something to question imo.

But that also doesn't mean he should behave like a 4 year old. It was possible to respond in an articulate way. And it probably isn't a great idea when speaking to an Asian-American to start yelling about "CHY-NA" but racial sensitivity has never been his thing anyway.
Yea, his inability to deal with a vaguely uncomfortable question is the issue here.

Here's the thing - the journalist asked a question about why being good at testing is important when people are still dying. All Trump said in response was, correctly, that these people are ultimately dying because of the actions of China. I didn't see any racial intent in his response - he's consistent in that response to anyone who asks such a question.

Indeed, the journalist is much more problematic in that exchange as she tried to play a race card for notoriety when no such issue was existant.

He then got talked over three times when trying to conduct the questioning, wasn't being listened to and correctly called it a day instead of going on with the circus.

That video really isn't a good example to kick Trump with; indeed it's actually stark evidence that he sometimes has a point when he calls the media crap.

No, she’s asking why he’s turning it in to a competition. She has a point.

Uh....no, not correct at all. China’s actions are almost certainly a contributing factor in why people are dying, but Trump and his administration are FAR from blameless. If they hadn’t been asleep at the wheel for all of January, February and part of March, we without a doubt be in better shape right now.

Yeah I don't really have any sympathy with Trump for "being talked over" or any of that nonsense. The guy is a jerk all the time and I don't see why he should be given the benefit of the doubt in any of those exchanges.

The racial component I don't really want to get into with you as you're one of those people who seems to think that anything short of blatantly directing a slur at someone's face isn't racism, so we will just leave it.

Every single time some kind of hardship hits a republican administration there is nothing they could have done and it was someone else's fault. Amazing how that always happens to them.

They win more elections?... I haven't counted up from say since the war, but that's the impression I get.
Then again you could blame the people that pick them as candidates and vote for them

Nah it's a perception thing I'm trying to make fun of. When Swine Flu or Sandy happened to Obama he handled well enough that it wasn't a total disaster (I'm not comparing Swine Flu and Covid on severity, for the record). But when Bush had Katrina or Trump had Covid-19, it is an unavoidable disaster, or at least the GOP pushes the narrative that it is. Of course their base eats that up, but the evidence is there to show that the disaster was made bigger by inadequate federal leadership.

And even if they hadn’t been left these things they have had over three years to create their own, it isn’t like scientists haven’t warned about pandemics.

Put on Hannity just to see what Kushner had cooked up tonight and it still amazes me the alternate reality that these folks live in. Something about de Blasio saying not to worry on March 2nd, which is bad, but do you think maybe the reason he wasn't worried is that the federal government that had all the info had done literally nothing?!? Mid January they knew and did nothing and now they'll just tell everyone that they didn't.

This country is so screwed...

Except I don't think that at all but whatever.
