I hear you. But she absolutely NAILED the response when asked about why she ripped it up.

Clearly the adult in the room
Didn’t see the response so will check it out.

Separate question. Who do you think actually has a chance regardless of the optics? Warren or Sanders are too extreme for the moderates. Biden would get eaten alive in debates. Pete doesn’t have the large scale experience, but maybe that’s a good thing?

If you wish to see how much truth he told rather than just accept what he said as gospel then read this

Pity the people that need to read this and understand he's full of it are either willfully ignorant or too far gone and hooked on his nonsense. It's fake news don't you know.

The problem is he gets away with this stuff because of the party of brown nosers sorry i mean the GOP.

Don’t know if she gave an official response, but reporters caught her leaving the chambers and she said had ripped it up because it was a “Manifesto of Mistruths”, and the when asked if she would invite him back to deliver the speech next year she said something to the effect of “Hopefully not, hopefully we have a new president in nine months”.

Warren is one of the more moderate candidates. Sure some of her plans are a bit too left for moderates but then again they would be being that it's supposed to be progressive thinking.

Trump and his ardent followers are the ones setting the narrative that all if not most candidates are all full on socialists ( the bad olden times kind not the modern kind).

I also think, if nominated, you'd see Warren pull a bit more to the center and definitely pick a more moderate running mate.

on another note, Trumps SOTU address viewing figures were down 20% on last year.

This will tank him for re-election, but then he was unlikely to win anyway.

Good on him for doing what is right
Agreed. He won the seat by a razor thin margin, and that was really only because he ran against a pedophile (who Trump openly campaigned for).

What a place, Alabama, where over 48% of voters decided that a pedophile was preferable to a Democrat.

Mad isn't it.

Just like Californians in a certain district who voted in a guy who was charged with Fraud and who likely be convicted. He later had to resign. Luckily they didn't get to keep the seat and a special election has been called. Duncan Hunter that is.

No he didn't he beat Roy Moore and it was a close vote.

Oh and it's by default not on default.
Roy Moore lost the base when all the sexual misconduct stuff came out. Hard for republicans to back that. Jeff Sessions will win the state next year with flying colors.

Did he really?

Here were the results for said election.

Jones received 673,896 votes (50.0%) to Moore's 651,972 votes (48.3%) with 22,852 write-in votes (1.7%)

He may have lost support from some in the GOP but the people voted for him nonetheless.

So either way you look at it Jones did not win by default. The people spoke, voted and seemingly didn't care.

NVM. You wouldnt get it since you aren't from this area...

Get what? How people vote?

You said he won by default. That's simply not true no matter how you look at it. Saying I'm not from that area doesnt change that either.

Many in the GOP supported moore right up until the end. Many only pulled support for him after mail in votes had already been sent. Many ignored the claims like they have done on all abuse cases and said it was fake media etc... this included Trump.

Even if the GOP did stop supporting him the people didnt. Are you purposely being ignorant or can you not see that simply by how many voted for him. Even after it was painfully clear he was a bad egg.
