Except they absolutely wouldn't do that given the unpalatability of the process for most people. Engaging in what would clearly be the equivalent of a frivolous lawsuit aimed at unseating a POTUS would not fly among the masses.

I have a lot of respect for the political skills of Nancy Pelosi and she wouldn't allow for impeachment proceedings without a compelling and legitimate reason, owing to the extreme political risks attendant to the process.

Well they didn't start an impeachment process over ten counts of obstruction of justice in the Mueller report.
They didn't start an impeachment process over multiple counts of violating the emoluments clause
They didn't start an impeachment process over putting kids in cages at the border
They didn't start an impeachment process over him violating campaign finance law to pay off Stormy Daniels

I think it's pretty safe to say they wouldn't impeach him over eating someone's sandwiches.

Well whether it changed your mind would really depend on what your opinion was beforehand, why you hold that opinion and how "changeable" your mind is... much more than it depends on the content of the testimony.

like I said, im a registered independent. I dont go into anything with a preset opinion. Live in a Red state, voted for both ways. I don't care who anything is about but I can be swayed is hard evidence is presented. All I will state on the situation. Have a fantastic rest of your day.

As for the content...

Trump is guilty and there has been enough evidence. Not sure what else you want. It's pretty clear from the testimony.

It's really down to who you believe and if those telling us that they see he did wrong as being traitors and liars like fox and friends and the idiots up there are trying to convince you off.

This is purely to convince the obtuse, heads in the sands Republicans at this point that he is in fact guilty.

It's embarrassing really seeing them lie and twist facts to protect Trump

If you are truly an independent then simple facts should not have passed you by now and if you understand that what he did is actually wrong then you shouldn't expect much more.

This has become a problem. I am not a fan of the left nor the Democrats most times but they are onto something here. this is not a witch hunt far from it. If it were Obama or Clinton this would be the same tactic pulled by Republicans. We have seen this before.
