All three of those (particularly the 1st) are unlikely in the current circumstances. His entire strategy is and always has been base mobilisation. He's never shown any interest in expanding that base.

And for all the talk of Hillary Clinton being the worst possible Dem candidate (who nonetheless won more votes than any preceding Dem candidate save Obama but never mind that), it's pretty clear that her totals would've been considerably higher if it hadn't been (erroneous) common knowledge that she was sure to win.

Never attribute to political passion what can more neatly be attributed to laziness. But people probably won't be so lazy this time.

I don't expect voting rates to reach unusually high levels this time around but I suspect they may be a bit higher and I really expect that very few people who haven't enjoyed the Donald Trump POTUS Experience will forgo the chance to vote him out this time regardless of what the polls say about who's more likely to win.
