You don’t think Trump asking publicly for China to investigate his political rival a few seconds after talking about the trade deal is worthy of discussion? It might not be enough by itself an impeachable offense but along with Ukraine and “if you are listening Russia” certainly indicates a pattern of behavior of asking for foreign intervention in domestic elections. We should definitely find out whether it has been raised as a potential “deliverable” in the trade negotiations.

No - it is the game he plays, throwing stuff like that into the mix and then pretending that its the same as him secretly trying to coerce Ukraine into doing his bidding - using US government money.

The Ukraine thing is not the same as asking Russia in 2016, or asking China now.

I agree that the Ukraine is worse (particularly as there now seems to be an explicit quid quo pro) but still think it is a pattern especially as Russia also had some meetings to acquire dirt that we only found out about later. It doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility that a Biden investigation has already been raised in the trade meetings either, even Kudlow was a bit ambiguous about it when asked.
