Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

this is all sorts of strange.
How are hardcore GOP voters ok with this,
never mind the lying about China paying for it.y

Because the base's only issue is to support whatever Trump does. For example the base Trump voter isn't for war w/ Iran. However if Trump decides he wants to go to war, they are all in. Its not going to change either. It will be that way until he dies. He could get wiped out in a landslide in 2020 and he'll still rule the party.

While a guest in, and standing next to the leader of one of the countries that stands to get a nuclear weapon dropped on their heads by the maniac he's praising and siding with.

Abe deserves that humiliation - he's sucked up to the Donald more than anyone else.

man, Mueller here saying the president is untouchable so we didn't try and touch him.
He didn't say the President is untouchable - he said that he couldn't touch him due to DOJ practice. I think he made it quite clear that someone else could touch him, but that's Congress' job. First the House (possible, but not likely IMO), then the Senate (very unlikely, I think).

I read the full Mueller report. There is more than enough evidence in there for Congress to do its job. Mueller did his job. It's up to Congress to do theirs.

We know how that ends
If they were to try, the House might get there - they need a simple majority to impeach and send to the Senate. In the Senate, a 2/3 majority would be needed to convict - that would mean at least 20 GOP members would have to vote to convict, assuming no Democrats or independents defect. I think getting 2/3 is DOA.

it is, but the process of impeachment would allow congress to unearth the full extent of Trumps misdeeds.
Then, in 2020 (or 22), if the evidence is there, the GOP senators who aquit him will be voted straight out of office.
The only reason not to impeach is that there may well be a recession coming and that would give Trump the perfect opportunity to blame the Democrats.
Even then, congress should do it's job whether they think it'll stick or not.

Agreed with some of this.

I am becoming more a fan of the House attempting impeachment because it's the right thing. Politically, it could very much backfire on the Democrats, but it's becoming increasingly apparent (on a weekly basis) that the basic underpinnings of how our democracy is supposed to work are being weakened.

The Constitution is the roadmap, but it only works if all are willing to follow it, even if it leads somewhere they don't want to go.
