I’d be interested then in your detailed assesment of Volume II section E - it is the section of the report detailing how Trump tried to fire Mueller and then get people to lie about it.

I’d like to see him impeached as much as the next person, but I also am not sure there’s a huge point when there is zero prospect of him being convicted in the Senate.

Then when he was “acquitted” in the senate, he gets to (with an element of justification) spout about how he was cleared of all charges, and was innocent all along.

There are ways to have oversight (the investigations that are already underway) without impeaching and opening up to another unwarranted media victory for Trump

But acquitted in the Senate isn't acquitted of crimes. It simply means the Senate is not going to remove him from office. Literally the second he is out the door he can be arrested regardless of impeachment.
