By calling him a rat does that imply some sort of guilt ? It’s like saying why am I being punished for illegal stuff but the other lots alleged crime go unpunished
Cohen is a high bar but I believe Giuliani might in the end emerge victorious as the Trump’s most unhelpful lawyer.
I really don't understand why Trump or the rest of his inner circle allowing this insane idiot to speak for them on national television is a good thing. It's not even good for distraction purposes. Mueller should use his footage and maybe call him in to see what info he can get out of him. He is an open book of stupidity.
This is why I find it bizarre that Flynn tried the “I was entrapped line”, his plea deal to lying to the FBI was to avoid being charged with other crimes like his partner.
At this point my only explanations are that Trump is going for an insanity defense (how on earth could someone with sound mind hire him?) or that if he is convicted on anything he has an “ineffective assistance of counsel” claim.

This hearing is crazy
It is hard to screw things up so badly that despite Mueller recommending you get off scot-free from jail time your mouth walks you into annoying the judge so much that you have to postpone your sentencing but Flynn managed it.
