It really hits you when you take a moment, pause and focus on just one incident or comment, and contemplate the idea of ANY other President saying something similar.

A literacy program here in my hometown is closing. And the costs are minimal to keep it running: about as much as it costs Trump’s security team to watch him play golf.

I genuinely don't think he's well.
A few years back, if you saw an American President depicted like that in a sitcom, everyone would have seen it as stupid writing rather than funny as it was too implausible.
He makes President Benson from Hot Shots: Part Deux look normal.
