Sorry Tubey, but your own logic disproved your statement, and now you are trying to change the wording of the usual throwaway statement to include ‘for racist reasons’....just admit it’s a stupid comment and almost certainly not true, just like any other group statement isn’t true as there are always those who don’t conform.....

Or or... you hadn't thought it through and now you're desperately trying to hide the fact you didn't. ;) You've equated it to "everyone who voted for Trump/Brexit is a racist", which isn't what is being said.

It's one of them - if you voted for Trump/Brexit and not for racist reasons, then the phrase doesn't apply to you and has nothing to do with you, so there's nothing to be offended by as it isn't about you. So you are getting offended by quite literally nothing but a factual statement about other people.

I’m not being offended. I just think it’s ridiculous to even attempt to group or paint millions of individuals within an offensive group heading and by extension ascribe it to similar voters......

Bold bit - see, that's not happening.

I mean the phrase you've took issue with quite literally says the words "not all Trump voters are racist", so unless you struggle with reading then you already know this!

Look, think of it this way - you're a mad racist and your primary motive for voting is pure hatred of everyone of any skin colour and language but your own, and you have the choice between Clinton and Trump - who do you pick, every single time?

You know the answer and the reason for it.

Thus:

Not all Trump voters are racist, but all racists voted for Trump.

Both parts of that sentence are equally true. If you can't stomach the fact that something you voted for is also popular with racists, that's on you.

Tubey, if only one racist, of any colour or creed voted for Clinton then your comment is wrong, and you know it. Anyway this semantic debate is adding little.......

OK another try:

Not all Trump voters have a fetish for orange skin, but everyone who has a fetish for orange skin voted for Trump.

Would you agree the above statement is true, given that a person with that fetish would have no reason whatsoever to vote for Clinton?

If so, replace the fetish with "racist" and ask the same question.

Not just acceptable...they love it

he literally sounds like a 15 year old kid playing X Box or whatever game console kids play now

how is talking like this even remotely presidential.

This is the #1 thing I'd like to understand from his supporters - surely even they don't truly think this is acceptable?

Today in FB Trumpland...

#1 Trump fan: President Trump HAS to tweet! He tweets what the corrupt and dishonest media hacks refuse to report!! The unhinged, corrupt, dishonest, hateful media hacks are a disgrace!

Appearance Matters Trump fan: I hear you, but you must admit that he comes across as a petulant child quite often right?

#1 Trump fan: He fights back....I love it!

Folks here will be shocked and surprised to learn that racist fear-mongering Trump is simply lying about the threat of MS-13 vis-a-vis immigration. But this won't stop his racist supporters from buying into it (SPECIAL EDIT FOR PETEBLUE: Not all Trump supporters are racist, but of those who are racist, they are going to buy into Trump's racist message no matter the facts. And this does not mean that Clinton supporters cannot racist themselves).

I’ve Been Reporting on MS-13 for a Year. Here Are the 5 Things Trump Gets Really, Really Wrong.

Some excerpts:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has called MS-13 the most brutal of the gangs driving the drug trade, and promised to go after the group like the government went after mob boss Al Capone. Really, experts have found the gang has barely any role in the international drug trade. The Congressional Research Service said that it could be misleading to call MS-13 a transnational criminal organization at all, because it has no central leader or global ambitions. The gang is made up of sometimes competing cliques, often led by teenagers most interested in wielding power over other young people in their immediate circles.

On Long Island, a detective told me police officers call MS-13 members “mighty munchkins,” because they have often not yet hit their growth spurts and tend to commit their crimes in large groups. They meet at night because, while other criminal organizations have massive international revenue streams, these guys—even the leaders—have to work menial jobs and sometimes go to school during the day. Each clique has its own shot caller, and its own hyperlocal focus. On Long Island, the gang’s focus has often been on controlling the halls of a single high school.

...
Actually, there have been fewer than 200 cases of false family claims this year—a fraction of 1 percent of the total number of families apprehended at the border—and there is no indication that any of those cases involved MS-13. Of the hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied minors that have come to the U.S. since 2012, Border Patrol says only 56 were suspected of MS-13 ties.
