Well you'd better get used to seeing his face for the next six odd years cos all signs are pointing to him getting re-elected. If he was that much of a monster people would find a way to get him out of power. Seems the majority want him there though.
What I find amazing is that trump himself has changed the policy yet prior to the signing of the executive order there seems to have been tacit if not overt support for the policy be that in comment sections everywhere , amongst the republican base and even on here .

I've not made a single comment on his character nor have I bragged about a single thing. I think no matter what he does he'll never be able to win with some people. People will never get over their aggressive hatred for him to be graceful enough to say he did a good job on anything. Barack Obama was an awful President, yet because he was so likeable his appalling record is glossed over in the history books. Just today in my social media timeline I saw somebody describe how they are "not usually violent" but would love for Trump to "suffer a slow, painful death". On the majority of issues I can understand both sides of the argument, while people like yourself simply refuse to acknowledge that there is usually another reasonable side to the debate.

That’s right but to a degree irrelevant, I don’t or wouldn’t care if 99.9% of Americans embraced that recent policy (as it happens my friends from the east Coast seem to illustrate that isn’t the case) it’ll still be wrong .
I was brought up , like many on here I’m sure, to have an innate sense of fairness, even decency and say when something was or wasn’t right . What’s gone on recently in the US just simply wasn’t right and I’m happy to say that, because it needs to be Called. If your upbringing or lifestyle feels that needs to be defended the we’re very different people .

For starters, the majority didn’t even want him when he was elected the first time round, and since then there’s been a pretty constant string of Special Election wins for Democrats in areas they’re not usually even moderately competitive.
I have no idea who’ll win in 2020, but to say “all signs point to” and “the majority want him there” is utter BS.
As for your later post on people “not being gracious enough to admit if he’s done something well”...
Maybe they will the moment he shows grace in anything at all that he does? In all seriousness though, maybe you can come up with something you think he should be getting all this credit for? Something specific that HE has done - not simply continuing trajectories from the Obama administration.

So you have a bloke who said he'd do amazing things and was ultimately a bit meugh, and a bloke who said he'd do horrendous things and has actually done a few of those. I'm no fan of Obama either on account of his lack of follow through, but how anyone can like Trump is completely beyond me.
