I was having a Donald Trump moment then haha!!
You forgot the founding of Playboy Magazine in your list of good things from the 50's.

Absolutely. Enforcement doesn't require a $30 billion investment in an easily breached barrier.
I wonder if you feel the same about enforcing campaign finance laws?![]()
How is there even an argument.Well, there is more fuel for the fire. Every point of argument added for one side is almost immediately turned into a rallying point for the other.
Mueller needs to finish this up and let the findings speak for themselves.

In the last two days we've discovered that the president lied about his health and lied about making payments to a porn star.
There's no argument.
Even before the investigation is complete? It is true that a certain point all relevant details have been looked at but compared to most special counsel investigations of previous presidents this hasn’t been going on for very long.Well, there is more fuel for the fire. It won't but it should. Not following you. Trump lied to the people about Stormy most likely, but nobody will care. Administrations, particularly Trump's, lie. The health thing is a non-story in reality. It's a story because it's ridiculous, but it won't impact votes or otherwise hurt the administration unless something new comes to light (even then - highly unlikely).

Heck the various investigations into the 2012 Benghazi attack, far more limited in scope, went on for years -Cllinton gave her marathon testimony in October 2015. Were you saying those investigations needed to be wrapped up before being complete just so they didn’t provide fuel for the political fires?
It won't but it should.
The fact that anyone can stand by this man means that the system is broken.
Even if the investigation is solely limited to Russia interference in the election and collusion with the Trump campaign that is going to take more time to tie up all the loose ends and I believe it hugely important to make sure all that is done to completion - the potential crime (treason in effect) is too serious to just skimp and there certainly seems to be enough smoke that the only thing that is going to clear the air is an honest review of what happened and the results made public. At this point it is to Trump’s benefit it he really wasn’t involved in anything shady with Russia.Well a couple things. The centerpiece of Mueller's investigation is Russia. That's now resulted in criminal referrals on various things, mostly unconnected to the campaign and Russian collusion. While I agree Mueller's mandate is broad, the question is what the goal is? Is it to get people to commit procedural crimes, or to find entirely unconnected crimes/violations/scandals?
Unlike a lot of conservatives I'm not convinced Mueller has it out for Trump. But at some point, the growth of the investigation becomes unwieldy. The investigation already reached Cohen by referral. I don't think there will be any bombshells on the Stormy front, but I think Cohen has real estate exposure and the like. That's already done, and if the SDNY finds Cohen is a criminal, so be it. But are we going to get a bunch more Cohens? If so, is that really what Mueller is out there to do?

Prior to knowing about the Trump tower meeting with Don Jnr and Russian lawyer (which as we have previously discussed I believe was a clear offer of being willing to consider sanctions relief on trade for dirt on Clinton) I always though the most likely thing that Trump would be vulnerable on was money laudering...although given international real estate that probably also involves Russians just in a different context.
As to whether it Cohen et al should be investigated - yeah I think it worth knowing about a president’s associates, same as Clinton’s questionable cabal would be (and who still might get caught up in Mueller investigation). If it doesn't matter to the voters fair enough but white collar political criminals tends to get a very easy ride so I’ll lose no sleep over them being investigated regardless of what political team they claim to be on.
