Donald Trump for President Thread

Absolutely agree with that mate. Theresa May making all these barbed quips at his expense is just about the worst thing she can possibly do - will only incentivise him more.

Thankfully Johnson will go over to the States (and he's either very astute or very luck, or both, as he wasn't Clinton's favourite after the mad nurse comment) and not some buffoon like Patel or Hammond

But weird times we are living in
I read somewhere ( before the Brexit vote) that he has a written a very clear and definitive career map. I wouldn''t be at all surprised that following Canerons resignation he hadnt made a pact with May not to run for PM in exchange for a prominent Govt office. The posting did seem a strange one. All I can say is Watch your back Tesesa!!

Must be a coincidence that far-right groups love both Trump and Brexit.

They share a few common ideas, and they stand for similar things. People have had enough of political correctness, of being called racist when they live in the most forward thinking, equal civilisation in the world and are anything but racist. They're fed up of leftist do-gooders being offended on every minority group's behalf, and of free speech coming under attack. They're looking at places which have allowed mass, uncontrolled immigration like Germany, and Malmo (rape capital of Europe), and they're saying no thanks (then, as previously pointed out, they're being called racist for that point of view).

Trump absolutely isn't the man you want handling the nuclear codes, and by and large he seems fairly clueless on policies. But he does represent a reprieve from everything listed above, and clearly the majority feel that they need that.

so much uncertainty. how much will Trump handle personally? when he chose Mike Pence there was a lot of suggestion that Pence, an utterly generic Republican, would effectively be the day-to-day President, and Trump would look after the huckster stuff. Was/is that still the plan? It would not be what many voted for.

There are so many economic points of uncertainty alone, which the global stock plunge could trigger in unexpected ways.

Will he go after Yellen like he threatened and find a way to raise interest rates?

I'll be honest I despise the phrase 'political correctness ' , so people want to be able to say whatever they want ? Growing up they didn't call that political correctness in our house it's just common decency isn't it ? Down with Political correctness just seems like an excuse for some people to say unpleasant thing about others . It's new champion seems to be trump and say something he doesn't like and he'll sue or threaten it at the very least .

I thought his speech earlier was fairly Presedential actually , he seems to have changed his opinion on a few people quite quickly but generally that wasn't what I expected from him . Credit where it's due .
