Were you around during Watergate, Dylan? It would be like that, but much more disruptive, and that was awfully disruptive. The difference being that the Republicans finally went to Nixon (it was Barry Goldwater, actually) and said "you've got to go - we won't back you any more because you're guilty as hell and they can prove it."
