Do you not get why what he did was wrong?

Take out the political climate, and why the Director of the FBI says, on a national level 'we might have some stuff, we aren't sure yet really', is wrong?
Edited my previous post a bit.

Comey did exactly the right thing. Maybe you should read Comeys statement on that again.

Hahahaa..so are you saying he continued the investigations because of that? Youve put your tinfoil hat on havent you...before he did the right thing he was hailed to high heavens by Obama /Hillary camp

Your edit shows your exact maturity on the subject. Tin foil hat. Really? Give me some credit for crying out loud!!

I want to be clear here, if Trump was the right candidate for this job, I would have no problem backing him. I am neither Republican nor Democrat, but almost every single policy Trump has talked about, in my opinion, is the wrong direction for the Nation to take.

There are extremists on both sides, and the are equally as silly as each other, but what is important, is the election day.....all this silly rhetoric should end on November 8th, where the American people (myself included) will collectively make the choice about our next Commander-in-Chief.

Why did Comey open the case? Youre saying because he is a republican?

Do you think Comey would have open the case now on lightly grounds?

It isn't Comey's decision to release the statement. The FBI should gather the evidence, then present it to the AG, who then decides whether or not to prosecute.

Right now, because of his irrelevant letter, he has put the FBI direct in the center of a political mess.

They found 22 emails classified 'Top Secret' at which point it was decided they wouldn't be recommending prosecution, which was the same result as the AG.

What the heck could be worse than 22 Top Secret emails? More Top Secret emails? The precedent has already been set.

Has she murdered someone? Or requested the murder of someone? If so, then why not get that evidence all together, rather than dangle a carrot, and centralize your organization in a political mess, potentially destroying your own credibility, and that of the FBI.

Comey, with this single decision, has proven he is the wrong person to head up the FBI.

He was put in an impossible situation to be fair, people testified all had been handed over and now it seems that was not the case. Comey should never have been put in this position by the DOJ, in congress he swore he would be forthcoming on more info. There is that saying that the FBI never really closes a case. In the end Hillary has only brought this on herself, there was no need for it, she could have had an easy straight forward victory.

I wonder how many other politician's in the US used a private server??

Be interested to see.

It is still not his decision to make, and to do so in such a public fashion? James Comey has violated the FBI's own procedures.

The case was never closed, it was always there to be reopened if anything suspicious came up. When people interviewed in the prior investigation stated everything was turned over and it wasn't they have now lost their protection from being prosecuted. Look my work involves very sensitive information, I can not be foolish with devices, email or anything else like that. If I was then under the law I can be prosecuted even imprisoned. Why should it be different for anyone else out there?

And herein lies the problem. What we are 'hearing'

Not a single fact in the public domain yet. Which is why his announcement was wrong.
Look under a criminal investigation the FBI can not just go and release information any way, Hillary as a former defence attorney knows this.

Because Congress implemented a law that they (politicians) can't be prosecuted for being negligent. And seeing as the FBI had found Clinton to be negligent........

Look, it really grated with me that despite her mishandling classified information nothing was done. I was in the Navy and had a Top Secret SCI clearance, and if it was me who mishandled that info, I would have been so screwed. Think breaking big rocks into small rocks. Then small rocks into gravel in Leavenworth.

Oh yeah, Clinton voted for that law as well. As did many Democrats and Republicans
